Located in Monteroni d'Arbia, 1000 Miglia is a modern hotel on the Via Cassia, part of the Via Francigena pilgrimage route. It features rooms with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi. We stayed here as a one night stopover on our Via Francigena walk. The room itself was spacious and with semi-firm twin beds. A good bathroom/shower. The manager was courteous, friendly and efficient. Fine for a one night stay as walkers - longer for motorists. Next door supermarket helped to fuel us for dinner. I had an excellent Bruno red wine at a supermarket price.

The owner Vittorio was very helpful , kind and personable. He provided security for my bike and helped me with my Italian. The rooms were very comfortable and modern.

“Comfortable, first class rural hotel.”
The proprietor was most helpful and was clearly very proud of his hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The large adjacent Carrefor supermarket has a pizzeria and coffee shop which is open 12 hours per day, including Sundays. The La Galera restaurant, located in the village has an extensive menu and the braised veal in particular was most delicious. Although a little off the beaten track, this hotel is well worth a diversion.

“Fantastic place to stay a few days and relax while you go sightseeing.”
Location was very good the hotel was on one of the main roads so leaving and coming back was very easy to negotiate, The owners of the hotel are very nice and nothing was a problem the room we had was very quite and the shower and amenities are top rate. my wife and I will definitely stay here again.

I’m a good location for our tour of Tuscany by bike, the owner was lovely, couldn’t do enough for us and helped us to store our bikes safely overnight.
