The food was exceptional and it was amazing to try authentic, Tuscan food at the restaurant each night. All fresh, local produce and the wine selection was amazing too (which isn’t surprising because you’re in Italy!!) The apartments were lovely and cosy, and the staff were amazing. Everyone was very friendly, and no request was too hard. We liked that it was a small hotel, as felt private and you had plenty of space to relax around the property. Highly recommend!

“Nice place, poor service”

The place is beautiful. An old house from the year 1000. Nice, spacious suites, rustic decoration to suit the country location. Nice pool.

I recently stayed at this beautiful Tuscan hotel, and it was truly a memorable experience. Nestled peacefully in the forest on a hill, the hotel offers stunning views and a very calming atmosphere that makes it a perfect retreat. The property itself is well-maintained and charming, blending seamlessly into the natural surroundings. The pool area was especially enjoyable, providing a perfect space to relax and unwind. The location of the hotel is excellent—peaceful and remote, yet still within easy reach of historical landmarks and cultural sites. It’s also conveniently close to the town of Siena, which was the highlight of our stay. We absolutely loved exploring Siena with its rich history, beautiful architecture, and vibrant atmosphere.

Beautiful, historical residence, restored to breathtaking beauty. In a magnificent location to many other beautiful historical towns and breathtaking countryside. Staff were warm, friendly extremely helpful and professional. entrance is via a very winding gravel road which can be difficult to navigate but well worth it. Highly recommend this place.

“Beautiful property but quite remote”

I am a bit on the fence about this property, it is absolutely beautiful and the setting is lovely but it is very remote and tough to reach (dirt road at the end for quite a bit). Unfortunately we were unlucky with the weather so couldn’t enjoy the facilities. It is beautiful and the staff are very nice. The food was simple but perfectly prepared - dinner was delicious.

A beautifully renovated old stone ‘post office’. It is located on a hill in a rural area - very peaceful. You do need your own vehicle to get there. The breakfast was great. We had an evening meal there and it was lovely. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. Nice place to chill out if you want a day out from touring but also handy to tourist spots eg Siena.

To reach the place its quite an adventure but when you are there the view makes it worth it. How ever you can't reach the place without a car. The pool is nice even though the sunbeds had no mattress.

We had a great 4 night stay in the residence with the family. It has an original Tuscany charm, with a lot of greenary and big pool. Food was exceptional, we can also recommend the cooking class with the chef Mikaela. It was so much fun! Staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are spacious and clean. We can all recommend.
