Surrounded by 2 hectares of rich parkland, Il Piccolo Castello is a 4-star hotel immersed in the Tuscan countryside, situated only 1 km from the castle walls of Monteriggioni. The hotel’s excellent position in the centre of the Tuscany region makes it an ideal base to visit local attractions. With the hotel’s free and private car park, you can tranquilly enjoy day trips to Siena, Volterra and San Gimignano. Breakfast is served daily from 07:00 to 10:00. There is a restaurant where you can savour Tuscan specialities on the comfortable terrace and a wine bar where you can sample some fine Tuscans wines such as Chianti. “Pleasant hotel with nice facilities”
Comfortable and clean with a great pool and restaurant. Just outside Monteriggioni on the Via Francigena. Dinner in restaurant was good despite it being very busy.

I liked that the description on the website matched the experience very accurately. Clean hotel, great pool and spacious pool area, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, great location for exploring Tuscany. The bedroom with a door out to the pool area was particularly good. We enjoyed the snack lunches from the pool bar.
