Like living in a fairy tale. Stunning castle, rooms and surrounding countryside. Reasonably equipped kitchen.

Just a beautiful experience, very different to the norm. Our host Mauro was so obliging and helpful. Julia gave us the most amazing tour and wine tasting. She was just a delight. She did give us more time than allowed (don't tell Mauro) it was a wonderful experience. Buffet breakfast each morning was delicious and set us up for the day. Thank you, we will be back

Marvelous property with easy access to explore Tuscany. The apartment with kitchen made our experience even better providing flexibility.

Location to explore the Tuscany region was excellent. Having the chance to stay in an old castle also brilliant. Great size rooms and bathroom. Given hot weather, the pool certainly a nice bonus to use after exploring the area

Splendid castle abode with a great swimming pool. Located right on the Via Francigena, so nice hiking opportunities from the doorstep.

The hospitality of Mauro and his staff was great. Location a 10, as its close to main attractions. Taberna del Oso restaurant few mins by car, worth dining there everyday. !

The staff at the castle were very nice, and the exterior of the castle looked great ...but that is where it stops for me I am afraid... I chose this castle with little expectations as I quite like the experience of the old thick walks and odd shaped steps and doors ...and over the many years of my extensive travels has revealed many castles in various states of repair... The room was terrible, the smell was so overwhelming at times it made us feel ill. It's freezing, I stay in Castles and old buildings wherever possible and understand the quirky problems people have converting these buildings, keeping them warm and damp proof... but sadly this is by far the worst castle I've ever stayed in. The ramp to get into the castle rooms is dangerous for any one with mobility problems and is completely disabled unfriendly. The car park drive way had also been washed away ...
