“Mixed experience with service and expectations unmet”
The location was great — we were able to explore Monterey on foot. We also enjoyed the breakfast and the wine-and-cheese evening. The bathroom in our room was good.

We had a wonderful stay! The rooms were clean, spacious, and had very comfortable beds. The location was perfect, close to Monterey attractions, restaurants, and the beach. Breakfast was excellent, and there was an afternoon wine and cheese treat. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

“Lovely stay at Victorian Inn”
Location, easy check in, well priced car parking, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff, nice sized room, overerall cleanliness, loved the free cheese and wine at 5pm!!

“Rundown and shabby”
Location. Walking distance to Cannery Row, Aquarium and restaurants. Spacious room. Comfortable bed. Property looks nice from the outside.

“Great hotel and location in Monterey!”
Great location near the sea and with secure parking! Able to walk easily to the aquarium and Cannery Row area where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and bars. Nice touches included a complimentary cheese and wine tasting between 5-6pm and a nice buffet breakfast also included in the price. It is rare to find these in US hotels. Rooms were large and comfortable. Although there isn’t much of a view from the rooms it was a small price to pay for the quality of the hotel.

Great hotel, had a lovely warm vibe, room was spacious and cosy with classic decor. Breakfast was great, lots of options! Location was reasonably close to explore Cannery Row

“Disappointed of this hotel in Monterey”
We liked the location, close to the Wharf and aquarium. Staff were friendly, helpful and responsive. The white wine that is offered at 5 o’clock was good.
