Beautiful location with bedroom facing east to the sunrise over the valley below, I can't remember our lovely hosts name but she was brilliantly helpful

Location is great, Carolina is very frriendly, nice ans accomodating. Breakfast was delicious and the house is just beautiful. Definitely would reccomend!

“Amazing place in great location”

Amazing location, a room in an ancient building with a very historic flare, while still being cozy. Lots of attention to detail from tapestry to faucets. The view from the tiny terrace (not directly part of the room but can be used) is stunning and it’s a great place to enjoy a take-home sandwiches from the famous sandwich place next door. Great location, very central.

It was truly an incredible building. A mansion from another era. In a central location in the old town, with its own folklore museum in the building.

Friendly staff, well located, spacious room and comfy bed.

The best accomodation we could have - if you are into living in city center, having it close to the best restaurants, living in nicely furnished appartment with old furniture. There is NO old smell. So I can recommend it.

“Ancient Palace that we paid very little to stay at. Felt that we were not worthy.”

Most excellent and beautiful place to stay. Walking in was like some sort of dream. Domed ceilings with frescos of the angels and Jesus. The place is a museum. You have never stayed in a place like this before.

I fell in love with this property. Perfect location and you wake up feeling like a bourgeoisie in the palace :) comfortable and warm rooms, beautiful view. Lovely staff.

The room was really cold. The entire place was very creepy, there was a strange smell, the wardrobes also smelled quite bad and one wardrobe had an actual door on the other side. There was a gecko in our bathroom. We were actually feeling really scared for most of the night!

We were absolutely stunned by this beautiful place. The palazzo has a lovely history. It was like sleeping in a museum we almost felt wrong to be there. The old, beautifully decorated rooms were spacious and complete with a nice bathroom and mini fridge. Waking up to that view of the Tuscan hills will stay with us for a long time. An absolute dream to stay there. The staff were very helpful in giving us a list of recommendations and guide us to the best free parking spot to reach the palazzo (which is located in a ztl). From the palazzo, the piazza grande is only a short, but steep, walk away. We had a perfect stay in Montepulciano.
