Overview
La Pievina is a family-run farmhouse with swimming pool in the Tuscan countryside, 3 km outside Montepulciano. Set in 25 acres of private farmland, it has panoramic views of the surrounding hills and vineyards. Guests can relax out in the garden where you will find tables, chairs, a gazebo and BBQ. Breakfast is served each morning and includes homemade specialities. Rooms and apartments have a rustic design with wrought iron beds and wooden furniture. Each one features a TV, private bathroom and a patio. Apartments also feature a lounge area with fireplace and a kitchen. La Pievina breeds cattle as well as producing its own fruit, vegetables and olive oil. Parking is free and the farmhouse is easily reached from the A1 motorway. There are many interesting towns, churches and nature parks around Val d'Orcia.

La Pievina is a little piece of heaven. Sonia messaged us to let us know that our room was ready. On arrival we were greeted by Sonia who showed us our room. It was so pretty with fresh flowers and was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Breakfast each morning had some much choice and we could enjoy it in the breakfast room, in our room or outside under a pergola covered in scented jasmine. We loved the pool area, it was like paradise.

“Just beautiful”
Our stay was so wonderful. Just far enough down a country lane to feel peaceful but still close to all the sights in this part of Tuscany. Breakfast was fabulous and Sonia and the family/staff were all so lovely and helpful. I would highly recommend this place as a base for your Val d'Orcia experience. Just wish it had been slightly warmer so we could have made use of the gorgeous looking pool!

Incredible stay that I could not recommend more. The hosts are so kind and welcoming, the room is lovely and traditional whilst being very clean. The grounds are lovely, such a great place to stay. Especially loved meeting little Brando!

Very nice agriturismo with beautiful views of the countryside. Nice pool with decent sunbeds. Just a shame that the water was very cold (altough it was still summer). Very friendly staff. We had a great stay and would have loved to stay longer.

What a place! A brand new refreshing pool with a romantic view on the Tuscan hills, surrounded by - only 4 - beautiful, clean rooms that are taken care of on a daily basis. The hosts are incredible: The breakfast includes homemade pies (which were close to “too good” 😁), their own honey, olive oil, great coffee that is brought to you at the table. And then the best part: you can have your breakfast in front of your room, enjoying the view. We loved it, and are sad to leave.
