excellent breakfast, location and people! the house is amazingly redecorated and people so nice and helpful! we were sorry we stayed only one night. definitely we will come back some day!

Il Tosco is such a cute hotel with amazing views from the rooms and great beds/showers. The hosts make you feel really at home and provide lots of personal touches. I particularly enjoyed the homemade savoury and sweet treats at breakfast.

the breakfast was amazing as mentioned by several guests and as was my recollection from my prior visit the receptionist was very helpful and friendly! The bed is comfortable, the shower is great nice and quiet property in great location Oh and cakes in the kitchen always accessible! yum

“Comfortable stay in lovely and usual place accommodation”

The property itself was very large. Our room was average size but then it had a lounge and dining areas to share. Food was very plentiful with only us to eat it which didn’t seem very practical but the breakfast was nice. There were lots of cakes but we were the only people there to eat them . Very lovely freshly cooked baked items at breakfast as well as eggs

The room was far too hot for us, and despite the advert showing air conditioning (which is why we chose this property) there was none. That resulted in two very uncomfortable and stuffy nights of quite poor sleep. Otherwise the property was perfectly suitable for a short visit to Montepulciano.

It was such a special place, not only was it a fantastic place to stay I would describe it as a very classy experience…. Nothing was too much trouble, the communication was outstanding, and the food and the treats were a really lovely touch.

Ii Tosco is a wonderful hotel in the centre of Montepoluciano. Beyond the historic interiors and the view, it is the owners and staff who make the hotel special. A particular feature is the breakfast - fabulous!!

Location is in the historical center, the room is beautiful and has very nice amenities. Amazing breakfast (one of the best I ever had) and snacks available 24/7. The host is friendly and provided very helpful information for visiting the Montepulciano area.

This is an exceptional place. The room was furnished to a very high specification and the bathroom was luxurious. The bed was super comfortable with high quality bed linen, which made for a cool night's sleep. Free access to the kitchen was a bonus and the breakfast was simply outstanding - we did not need any lunch after it and there was so much choice. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

“Unique stay at Montepulciano”

Very unique and beautiful property. The decoration is kept traditional with some modern touches. Breakfast was served in a big dining table and everything was fresh and delicious. Angelina was very polite and helpful. She gave us great restaurant and wine bar recommendations and made sure we feel comfortable to ask for anything we need. All in all, a great stay when visiting Montepulciano.

Absolutely stunning

As most other reviewers write, this is an exceptional place where you are really taken care of and spoiled. The breakfast is amazing. It hurts a bit not to be able to give a perfect 10, but there's a good reason. 2 points for the first night and 10 for the second. Average is then 6.

If you book Il Tosco you will have a wonderful stay and not want to leave. Pure Luxury from start to finish. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice and extra treats appearing from the kitchen. Home made cake and fresh coffee available 24hrs, too. Beautiful property and our room looked out on the Tuscan countryside. Super large bathroom with a jet bath tub. Elena helped us with dinner and wine tour reservations which was great.. Thank you. All the staff were lovely and made our stay memorable. Having parking included close by was a plus.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had, with a wide range of options and served in a classic dining room. The interior of the hotel is beautiful, and we had good sized room with a very comfortable bed and an amazing large shower. We really appreciated having access to a kitchen with free coffee, tea, water, fruit and even cakes (!), the complimentary wine and cantucci. Staff were very friendly and helpful. An excellent base to explore Montepulciano from.
