“Hidden gem (estate) near Montepulciano”
It has surpassed our expectations. The pictures of the estate do not reflect its true beauty. A big garden overlooking the lake in the distance on one side and Montepulciano on the other side. It has a nice swimming pool which just opened on our arrival, unfortunatelly it was yet too cold to swim. The appartment was very clean and it had a Tuscany charm. The landlord is very nice and kind. Perfect staying for families with kids as well. The location is really great to discover Val d'Orcia.

The accommodation is comfortable and well located, the place is charming and surrounded by olive trees. The view from the rooms were amazing, we could see Montepulciano from the window. The owner is a very kind person!

“I’d go back in a heartbeat!”
Frateria di San Benedetto feels like a beloved childhood home, a beautiful villa set amid a vineyard and olive grove. We had a set of rooms with an attic, perfect for our daughter. A comfortable kitchenette gave us the chance to try our hands at some Tuscan cooking! During the day, we took advantage of the fantastic hiking opportunities around the hotel. And our host was kind enough to drive us to Montepulciano (a lovely hilltop Tuscan village that the villa overlooks). He even drove us to the railway station the next day, and we felt his hospitality went far beyond the commercial. All in all, it’s the sort of place one can easily use as a base to explore Tuscany, and I’d go back in a heartbeat!

Panoramic setting with extensive rustic grounds and pleasant and helpful, attentive hosts once we sought them out. Orientation to amenities was not great but maybe that is because it is a working farm.

“Perfect Tuscan agritourismo, would come back!”
We loved our time in Montepulciano! This place is a little slice of Tuscan heaven. We had a two bedroom apartment with cooking facilities. The pool is fabulous. The place was busy (July) with a number of other families staying but everyone was really lovely and respectful. The views from the property are absolutely magnificent! We’d love to come back.

It was a big apartment, I was afraid that it will be too hot, because it was heat wave at the time we were there and there is no air conditioning in the apartment, but it was OK. Location of the apartment is more the 500 m above sea level the evenings and nights are pretty fresh. The celling in the apartment is also high, so it was not too hot if you keep opened windows during evenings and night it was OK. There is mosquito protection on windows. I also liked big swimming pool and big nice garden around the house.
