“Hidden gem in the heart of Val d’Orcia”

Beautiful location, stunning view, very calm quiet place, an enchanting gem near the beautiful city of Montepulciano. Alex made our stay great, giving advice on secret locations to visit. The appartment is brandnew, well equipped and comfortable. Great location to visit Val d’Orcia and Chianti region. Highly recommended!

“The perfect Tuscan getaway!”

The property is breathtaking. Alex was very kind & went above to ensure we were comfortable our entire stay. Great cooking facilities & easy access to local towns for restaurants & shopping.

“Relaxing spot”

We stayed in the one bedroom cottage. The location was perfect with beautiful scenery and cosy accommodation. The pool was beautiful and had an amazing view across the vines. The host was very helpful and friendly, we had one of their wines for a pre-dinner drink, it was lovely, if we were not backpacking we would have bought more. The air con was a blessing as the temperatures were in the mid 30's. There is a restaurant within walking distance but it is all on the road, no pavements.

Wow this stay was just incredible! We loved every second! The location was perfect with beautiful scenery and cozy accommodation. The host was so friendly and his recommendations for places to eat and things to see were very helpful. We would 100% stay here again.

Excellent location, facilities, amazing host! Rooms & Property - Very nice and clean. Good bathrooms and room is also very big. Property is AMAZING! Two pools and they are heated. Location - Excellent!! Close to Siena, Montepulacio, Pienza, Montechiello, San Gimignano! Service - Alex has been a wonderful host. They grow their own Olives and have their own wines. He quickly got us wines and olive oils when we asked for it. Super responsive on whatsapp. Hands down, the place to stay in the Pienza / Val d’orcia region.

Alex was great!! Take care of everything we asked for and give us a warm welcoming. the apartmant was clean, specious and we got all we need. The location is perfect and the all place is charming.

“Beautiful Property in Montepulciano”

The property was lovely, well maintained and located within a short drive to Montepulciano town, a supermarket, pharmacy, and a gorgeous pastry shop. Our apartment was the perfect size for two, it was clean, cosy and embraced a rustic design, with some handmade furniture by the owner and his brother. The host, Alex, was very helpful and friendly, and responded very quickly when we had questions about restaurants etc. We really enjoyed our stay.

Alex and his family were very special hosts. From the initial greeting we felt very much at home and loved our stay at the property. We would recommend this accommodation to anyone seeking an authentic stay in the Tuscany region. We were very sad to leave but can’t wait to visit next time.

Alex and his family are amazing hosts and they truly want your Tuscan experience to be memorable. They are very passionate about this and also passionate about Tuscany and their home. We arrived on a rainy day and we stayed for 3 nights. Alex was communicating with us in advance to our stay and already providing many suggestions. However, given the rain, some of those original suggestions were not suitable when we arrived. So Alex proactively gave us other suggestions which was very helpful so we could still enjoy ourselves despite the weather!! As soon as we arrived, he provided us details of the local grocery store and gave us tips on how to navigate the town and find parking. Anything we wanted or needed to ask about, Alex and his family provided and were very responsive when we called or texted. It helped make our experience so nice because we got good local advice. The place is stunning. The view by the pool is spectacular!! Sweeping green hills and mountain views that go so far and makes you feel like you are in a different world. We truly wish we had more time to enjoy it and could have stayed there longer. The small towns are also very close by (around 10-15min drive) and the green hills are everywhere!! It's so lovely to drive around the area and see all the greenery but it's even more magical to wake up with it on your front door in the morning while having your coffee. This place is beautiful. Alex and his family made some great recommendations. We really loved Montechiello and the thermal pools too. Dinner at Lieviti for pizza is so yummy and is inside an old wine cellar, so it's a beautiful venue and only 5-10 min drive. Order the Bufalina pizza yum! There are so many other nice restaurants too. If you want to enjoy real Tuscany, this is the place to be. It's away from the crowds, so very peaceful but still close to everything. And because it's family run, they truly care about your experience and will try their best to help you.

“The full Tuscan”

Alex was no other word other than perfect. An exceptional host, no job was too much to ask and his recommendations were superb. I am a person who doesn't like to visit the same place twice but best believe I will be looking to visit again, the stay met all our expectations and more.

We had the most amazing time. Alex is an excellent host - super friendly and his recommendations were spot on. The photos don’t do the place justice - the view is incredible and the room was much bigger than we expected. Couldn’t have asked for better accommodation for our first time in Tuscany. Highly recommend.

Awesome space. Alex the host was amazing. Had fantastic communication, tips and advice was extremely friendly and helpful. Messaged before we arrived to help us settle in, greeted us and answered any questions we had including wonderful recommendations for food and things to do. We loved our stay here with the great space and felt very relaxed. Accommodation was nice and clean. Internet worked well. Location to mediaeval towns including Montepulciano was perfect for our stay just a short drive in to town. We would highly recommend Serraglio and really appreciate Alex and his family for an amazing time. They also have excellent wines to try!

A perfect spot for a relaxing few days in the Tuscan countryside.. very friendly family, delicious wine and a beautiful pool. Just a 5 min drive from Montepulciano town, everything we needed for a relaxing time for our first time in the Tuscan countryside, definitely recommend!
