“A gem of stay in Montecatini”

The main thing was the Staff they are so friendly and helpful especially the lady on reception who helped us everyday with places to visit, directions, and trains etc. The location is perfect near everything you need to see and do. The rooms are clean and comfortable we had a nice little balcony overlooking the pool which we used everyday

Cleanness, beautiful interior of both the hotel itself and the room. High ceilings make the room look fabulous.

“Not 4 Star”

No drinking water in the room toilets was running permanently when we got into the room , but they did sort that immediately, rooms very noisy could hear everything going on outside.would give this a 4 star rating, stopped in better 3 stars in Monticattini

Relaxing hotel, good bedroom in annexe but still handy to main hotel facilities. Good breakfast in stylish spacious dining room. Relaxing pool area in good state of upkeep. Staff very welcoming and always friendly.

Nothing, maybe location

Spacious room and bathroom, comfortable temperature, all accomodations, good balcony with beautiful view, super clean and enjoyable swimming pool

Very tasty

The hotel was very nice and clean. The room was very clean and the bed was extra comfortable, There were lots of shampoos and dush gels - so many that i never used them. Lovely little balcony with a view to the mountains and Montecatini Alto. Very silent place at night. Really good food at the restaurant and very nice and lovely waiters. Very kind, lovely hosts and people at the reception. Pool was really great, the extra towels that you could use at the pool and sunbeds! Free bikes to ride around the town! I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel very much. I guess it is the best hotel in Montecatini. So definitely choose it and you will not regret. There were even rhe opera and songs evenings at the hotel - book them in advance as they are very popular and may be sold out early.

Facilities were great, the pool made a good difference to the end of the day, never too busy during my stay. Staff helpful. I had the breakfast on one of the days, choices were ok, for €10 it was fine :) Location good, 10 mins from the train station, nice area

The location of this property was central for exploring Montecatini Terme. A pleasant vibe in the immediate area, cafes bars and restaurants near by. Our rooms were in the adjacent annex, which wasn’t a problem, lovely outside bar and seating area and swimming pool. As we had room only I cannot review the food.

The reception staff were excellent. We dealt mainly with Serge. He was very knowledgeable, efficient & helpful. The food (both breakfast & evening meal) was tasty, good value for money & we would recommend it. The restaurant staff were friendly & nothing was too much trouble. The barman was lovely & efficient too. This was my third visit to Monticatini Terme. The first hotel was good, the second hotel sadly was lacking but the Hotel Settentrionale Esplanade was the best. The location was perfect. I would definitely stay here again & encourage friends to do so too.
