Overview
Just a few steps from the centre and the town's major thermal spas, Hotel La Querceta offers a garden with swimming pool and free car park with limited parking spaces. All rooms are air conditioned and feature a balcony and WiFi access. At La Querceta Hotel guests have plenty of space to sunbathe on the sun terrace. Set in the heart of Montecatini Terme, the hotel is close to the A11 motorway and is a 20-minute drive from Lucca. Florence centre is around 45 minutes away by car and a shuttle service is available to both Pisa and Florence airports.

“Great location and value for money.”
The hotel is very basic but exceptionally clean, great location, you can walk to the major attractions easily. The food was basic but plentiful, infact almost too much! But the best part of my stay were the staff and I'd like to say a big thank you to Federica, Martina, Mario, Vincenzo, Grazia and especially Tinkerbelle (Angela) who works incredibly hard and always with a smile and a friendly little chat. Thanks!

“Just for a quick snap”
Parking was available. Stuff is nice and helpful. Sit in the pool as long as sun is behind the mountain. Balcony saves the evening.

“Great 3* hotel - we would stay here again.”
The staff were all very helpful, check-in was smooth and easy. We had a slight issue that the room had been made up as a double instead of a twin, but that was fixed within a couple of hours of arrival and didn't cause any problems. Our room was very clean and was attended to every day of our stay. Toiletries were well stocked and towels replaced daily (although we'd have been fine if it was every 2nd day). Air conditioning worked well (it was 35C most days, so a/c was needed) and we had a lovely balcony overlooking the pool area. There was a French school group there during our stay and they were incredibly well behaved, so we hardly heard them at all. Likewise, a German tour group arrived and were also very quiet. We both enjoyed the food here - breakfast was typical of the area with bread, cold cuts, cheese, cereal and cake/pastries. Dinners we found varied and plentiful with a nice choice each evening and we hadn't expected four courses! Drinks in the hotel were also reasonable at 5 Euro for a large bottle of Birra Moretti. The location is excellent, right next to the Tettucci, close to the Tamerici and a very short walk to the Funiculare to visit Montecatini Alto. Only a 15 minute walk from the train station and it didn't feel like it was uphill until the last few minutes where it gets a little steeper at the side of the park. We would stay here again if we had the opportunity to visit Montecatini as it's a great base for exploring much of Tuscany.
