“Great accommodation in a great little spa town”

Very polite and helpful hosts, very clean hotel with great location near to the prettiest parts of Montecatini. We liked everything about the accommodation. Bare in mind that Montecatini lives early in the morning and late at night, so it might get noisy. But it's a beautiful place to visit, great air, great atmosphere, great spas and beautiful architecture in Art Deco and Liberty style. Feels like 1920s. And it's close to the sea, around 40 minutes by car. It was our 2nd stay in Montecatini and I would certainly go back again.

“A very pleasant albergo that was excellent value for money”

This Albergo was excellent value for money. A family run albergo it was spotless with perfectly good , modest rooms and a good breakfast on a terrace in the morning. It is in a great location, near the Terme and the Funicolare and close to the centro but in a pretty quiet spot. The couple that run the place were very kind and helpful to us and even found us a usb charger plug to charge our phones! Free parking close by too!!

“Great friendly hotel,”

Lovely location, very close to the station, plenty of lovely bars, restaurants and parkland. Room was basic but a decent size, was cleaned every day to a very high standard. Vincenzo was very friendly and always around if you needed anything. Check in nice and easy. People have mentioned about the shower, we didn’t have any issues and didn’t mind the wet room set up.

Helpful communication with the hotel beforehand, friendly and welcoming reception, easy to locate in a calm area of town close to the centre and the station. The hotel was managed with homely professionalism - welcoming, friendly, helpful and efficient: a family atmosphere with high quality service.

A very beautiful, antique, well-taken care of hotel. Truly speaking the hotel as a whole was very clean and good looking, the rooms as well were cleaned daily and there were no problems. The staff were very nice and helpful, and understanding when we had a difficult situation.

“Lovely hotel”

Lovely hotel with free public parking nearby and easy access to both Florence and Lucca. The staff at the reception was also very hospitable and helpful.

“A hidden gem in the spa city”

It was the best hotel/hostel I've stayed at in my whole life. The interior had so much personality and character. The manager was extremely helpful and had little maps prepared where he would mark the things we asked about like a restaurant, pharmacy or atm. It was a small and cosy place with a warm atmosphere. Always a couple of senior Italians in the lobby or outside who was happy to chat with us despite our broken Italian but the manager showed us how to us Google translate which made it easier! It was a 10 min walk from the station, 10 min walk to the funicolare, 10 min to all the spas. Everything was within 10min and there was a restaurant and a pizzeria just across the street. This is the perfect place if you want a simple and wonderful place to stay.

The hosts were very welcoming and very helpful throughout our stay and the accommodation and breakfast perfectly adequate for our needs. I have rated everything highly with the cost in mind; it was excellent value for money.

Location was good for sightseeing and getting around

The staff was very helpful and always available. They gave me the iron when I needed it and gave a good advice about a place to eat. Location was also close by the center and to the station, about 10 minutes walking. There is a spacious relaxing area at the first floor.
