Fantastic place. Barbara, Roberta and all the family went the extra mile to make our stay relaxing. Lovely place, highly recommend if you are looking for a simple, well-equipped accommodation for your holiday. The house is wonderful, surrounded by olive trees,with a garden ful of all kinds of aromas of rosemary, basil, oregano, lavender. We also had our own area with a mini-spa. Everything is managed with a lot of love by Barbara and Roberta, wonderful hosts, very kind, friendly and very helpful.

A wonderful and relaxing place. Welcoming structure, located in the middle of nature, among olive trees. The kitchen is fully equipped, the house is beautifully decorated. Lovely and welcoming hosts. It far exceeded our expectations. The strong point was having our own jacuzzi.

“Something for something :)”

Barbara is a very nice host and helpful. We could reach her easily and received fast responses. The place is very clean and friendly, we felt like at home. There was everything we needed in the kitchen as well; even oil and vinegar, honey and housemade spices (very tasty by the way). There was also a full bascet of breakfast meal; crunchy bread, nutella and jam. And the jacuzzi was the crown on the top. The place it self is about ~50 minutes from Pisa or Florence; it is easy to get in both directions; the autostrada is also close by.

“Amazing Views of the Hills of Tuscany”

Barbara's place was beautiful and just as described online. She was such a gracious host, quick to answer any questions we had and happy to help us when needed. There was a delicious fresh-baked cake waiting for us upon arrival which was so sweet of her. The apartment was equipped with anything we needed including coffee, honey, olive oil, Melba toasts, jam etc. Each morning we were treated to a short visit from her adorable dog Mimi. (If you're not a dog lover she will not come around or be a nuisance at all! ) We didn't have a car so getting around involved a slightly challenging (only because I'm not used to the hills) 10-15 min walk up into the charming village and then taking the funicolare down to the town below if needed. The little village of Montecatini Alto is wonderful, lots to explore and see and several cafés/restaurants to eat at. The town below is also charming with great shopping and restaurants for dining. This area is a great spot to base yourself out of if you want to explore nearby towns less than an hour away by train (there are 2 train stations) or if you simply want to chill with a glass of wine while you take in the beautiful views of the Tuscan hills and countryside. I would recommend Barbara's place without hesitation if you're considering booking. Thank you for such a wonderful stay Barbara!

Absolutely everything. Location, kindness and helpfulness of the owner, equipment, furniture, cleanliness, olive trees, jacuzzi.

Location - apartmens are surrounded with beautiful nature - olive trees, forest, rosemary and other typical Tuscan flora. Every apartment has it's own outside hydromassage bath. Hosts were wery kind and welcomed us with a homemade cake. They were wery helpful. Montecatini is very beautiful town and it is excellently located - between Pisa nad Florence which are 45min - 1 hour drive from it, so it is excellent choice for those who want to explore and visit Tuscan cities and coutryside.

Agroturismo Fonteregia is located a few hundred meters from the beautiful little medieval village Montecatini Alto.The house is wonderful,surrounded by olive trees,near the chestnut forest,with a garden ful of all kinds of aromas of rosemary,basil, oregano,lavander. In the apartment where we stayed ,the feeling of order and cleanliness comes from the first sight.It is very spacious,comfortable and provided all the amenities that someone could ask for.With a modern kitchen, where a lot of goodies awaited us:freshly picked fruits from the garden (figs), olive oil, homemade jam,coffee.A bathroom with organic bathroom items, of the best quality.We also had an outside pergola and our own area with a mini-spa.Everything is managed with a lot of love by Barbara and Roberta our wonderful hosts,very kind,friendly and helpful.They gave us advice for good places to visit and restaurants.Thank you very much,we will come back with great pleasure.

Unfortunately, our holiday was very short. We have been at Agriturismo Fonteregia 5 days but we will definitely be back. We didn't expect it to be so great. Everything exceeded our expectations. The hosts are wonderful and helpful. The description of the room does not fully reflect the equipment - we even had such little things as spices for cooking and several types of coffee and tea :). Clean and well-designed rooms. We are delighted !
