Situated in the middle of a beautiful small town it was very relaxing to be here. The house is full of character and Francesca is extremely helpful offering to book restaurants etc., very kind and helpful. The room was very large and the bed comfortable with lots of storage etc. The bathroom was also large with a shower attachment in the bath. The air con was perfect, slowly cooling the large room without being too cold or noisy. Breakfast is included and a large selection of food offered. Very friendly staff and the house cat is also very friendly.

Wonderful stay at an amazing home that dates back to medieval times. Beautifully restored and decorated. Great breakfast as well. Kind, genuine host who is extremely helpful. staff are also kind and welcoming .The town is a great base for a short stay to visit nearby vineyards or hike. the town itself is peaceful and has lots of good. restaurants. Highly recommend.

Perfect location in the heart of the town. Warm welcoming, the owner was very friendly and helpful. Fantastic roof terrace that we enjoyed in the evening. The room was super spacious and comfortable. Wonderful palazzo tastefully decorated with original features, great attention to detail. Will definitely be back the next time we visit Lucca!

Absolutely amazing building with antique furnishings and huge rooms. Our host was friendly and extremely helpful. The restaurant on site was superb with beautiful local wines and produce. Breakfast was very generous. Can not fault this place. Free parking with a permit close by.

We first stayed at Antica Dimora Patrizia about 22 years ago. It was wonderful to start with but later lost it’s way. Francesca has transformed the little palazzo into a lovely place to stay. The hospitality was first rate. The rooms were lovely again. The breakfast was very good indeed. I don’t eat cake for breakfast but was tempted two days in a row by the wonderful cakes! We will be back!

Very friendly owner and the staff, nice location in the middle of the old town. Good restaurants. Plenty of things to do and see. Close to Pisa and Firenze....we used it as a base to visit both. It's not far from the sea....1 hour drive to Marina di Pisa beach.
