Overview
Antica Casa Dei Rassicurati is in the centre of Montecarlo, a medieval village at the top of one of a hill 17 km from Lucca. This building of the 16th century offers rustic rooms. Free Wi-Fi is offered throughout the property. The rooms feature exposed wooden beams on the ceilings, brickwork floors, and traditional Tuscan furniture. Each room is equipped with cooling fan, and a private bathroom with hairdryer. Breakfast includes bread from Altopascio, homemade cakes, yoghurt, and fresh fruit. It is served in the patio, under the trees, or around the fire-place during winter. The Antica Casa features a bar with happy hour. Internet terminals are also available for free.

The B&B was charming. The host couple is very nice. Davide cooks very well. Giulia is a skilled sommelier. The rooms are comfortable. We will come back!

First of all, Guilia-the host-was super nice and sweet. I felt very welcomed since the first minute. Hotel is located in the very heart of Montecarlo and has its old charm. Overall, my stay here was very pleasant and after realizing how many events happen in Montecarlo on a regular basis, I'm already thinking about coming back here.

“Perfect stay in a romantic Tuscan village”
The B&B is located in a lovely old town in Tuscany. Very cozy, very cute town. Giulia and David did everything to make our stay perfect. The only thing they could not do for us is present better weather. We had dinner in the B&B twice and Giulia and David were more than welcome to help us anywhere we needed.

We had a wonderful time, Montecarlo is wonderful, located halfway between Florence and Pisa, which of course we visited during our stay. What to say about Giulia & David, I think it's best to see for yourself and meet them 😉... Thank you for making our stay better and of course I hope to see you again 😀 Greetings from Fiume

“Lovely place to stay in Monte Carlo”
Antica Casa Dei Rassicura was just what I needed for some down time whilst travelling. The location is the best, right in the main area. Julia and David the host were amazing. The breakfast and dinners they serve were to die for. I would totally recommend staying here. The room was lovely, bathroom a bit small but ok.

“Best experience Montecarlo and Italian hospitality”
Everything. The location was fantastic. Easily is the best location within the walls of Montecarlo. We really enjoyed the cozy courtyard immediately outside the building. The owners went above and beyond our expectations and made us feel exceptionally welcome. The room was charming and well presented. We were even lucky enough to have the only room with a small private balcony. The breakfast was the best we have had during our time in Italy. They put on homemade pastries, cakes, yoghurt and granola as well as more. We would highly recommend making the most of the fantastic wine available whilst playing a game of chess in the courtyard. Thank you for the wonderful memories. Btw there is a gelato place just 80 meters a way tha served amazing ice cream!

“We had a lovely time and could not have asked for better”
Breakfast consisted of local and homemade produce and baking, excellent! Dinner was cooked from scratch and represented local cuisine and Nonna’s recipes, the Zuppa alla Garfagnia was to die for. David is an excellent chef and Giulia the hostess with the mostest. They are knowledgeable of the town’s history and told us the story of the Teatro dei Rassicurati
