Overview
Set in a 2-hectare park, La Casa Paterna dates back to the 18th century. It offers elegant rooms with antique furniture and a swimming pool with panoramic views of the Umbrian countryside. All 5 rooms have a classic design with wood-beamed ceilings and a view of the park. All with air conditioning, the rooms also feature a flat-screen TV. A sweet and savoury buffet is served each morning in the rustic lounge with widescreen TV, ideal for an aperitif later on in the day. Guests also have a free car park and free Wi-Fi in the entire property, including the garden. Country House La Casa Paterna has a rural setting, 10 minutes' drive from Città di Castello. It is approximately 30 minutes' drive from Arezzo, Perugia, and Assisi.

“Great stop when riding the ACT / motorbike travel”
Riding ACT, secure bike parking. love the location. great breakfast. Fuel station close by. For dinner 8 km ride. Not sure why the place is recomended on the ACT site, since its not realy on the track. Still loved it.

“More than you bargain for with this wonderful bed and breakfast”
Isolated but easy to access and fabulous location with great views from the main house. Pool was just perfect; long enough to swim a proper length and this temperature was just nice. Rebecca was amazing and breakfasts were fantastic

“Beautiful stay in this gem of Umbria!”
Our stay at the cottage at La Casa Paterna was great, it is so private and quiet and is equipped with everything you need. It was so nice to have an outdoor patio to relax after a day of touring the nearby country side. Each bedroom has it's own bathroom, a very nice addition and beds are comfortable and cozy. Rebecca and Andrea were fabulous hosts, available at any moment with anything you need. We would love to return to this gem of Umbria!

“Exceptional”
The location is absolutely to die for. It is in the middle of the countryside, set high on a hill, and a great base for exploring the local cities and the wider region. The house itself is the family farm, converted into what can only be described as the most beautiful of B&Bs, made incredibly comfortable by the hosts. The hosts are incredibly accommodating, knowledgeable, and helpful. We immediately felt at home. The breakfast was amazing with local specialties available at scale served by the incredibly elegant hosts. We were there for six or seven nights - would happily have stayed for a month.

The views are amazing! We were a family of 4 people and the whole cottage was a perfect size for us. The owner is so sweet and helpful. The pool was super clean and fresh. ACs do their job perfectly well. Great surroundings and greeneries.
