“Perfect property in the middle of Tuscany”

What a find! Accommodated on a private property, in a part of the landlord’s house, in a detached location close to the old small town of Monte San Savino, in the middle of an olive trees plantation. A crystal clear pool shared with the owners only, a barbecue, well maintained lawn. We were welcomed by a bottle of an olive oil of the owners own production and a jar of home made tomato juice, we ate it all during the week we stayed in! We could also pick fresh tomatoes in the garden. Location is perfect, close to wineries, olive oil producers, enough restaurants and supermarkets, small villages and bigger towns like Siena, Arezzo or Florence. Of course, a car is a must.

Smaller but very cosy apartment with everything you need including a well equipped kitchen, dishwasher and washing machine etc. Bed a little smaller but comfortable. Sofa bed also comfortable. The pool was great and we had it to ourselves, we could see it from the window. There is plenty of shade if you need it. Quiet place. Super-friendly cat (10/10:). Great and welcoming hosts who speaks perfect English. Just Tuscany as we like it. A few tips for future visitors: 2 minutes by car is the small town of Monte San Savino, which has a good and cheap pizzeria just a few houses behind the town sign. There are then other good (and more expensive) restaurants in the centre, and I recommend the historic centre for a cafe and an evening stroll. Bigger shops are at the other end of town, I recommend the Coop. Nearby is Arezzo (6/10), we liked Lucignano (8/10), Cortona (9/10) and a little further afield Perugia (10/10). Also Sienna and Florence, obviously (bit further and via side roads, but still must see). Lago Trasimeno rather disappointed us, not worth the trip (3/10). Have fun!

Wow what a great find. We loved this place and the owners made us so welcome. It is peaceful quiet great views loads of indoor and outdoor space. Fabulous pool. Only a few minutes from restaurants and shops in the car.
