Such a nice room, comfortable bed, great breakfast and amazing hosts. This is the best place by far to explore the whole area including Rennes le chateau, Rennes le Bains, Bugarach, and Alet Les bains (and beyond). Hosts were so friendly and helpful in deciding what to do and where to eat. Every day breakfast was something different and delicious! Would highly recommend!!!

Chez Montiz is an incredible and beautiful “home”. The hosts, Cat and Steve are warmhearted and wonderful people. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and beautiful. I would say 5 star + quality. The breakfast delicious and the service of these 2 wonderful people amazing, they offer help and service where they can. It made my stay in Montazels magical. Thank you Cat and Steve. “Superb sums up this place”
Absolutely everything! Katya and Stephen are exceptional hosts who cannot do enough for guests, nothing is too much trouble. From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave they are super attentive, extremely friendly and helpful. The home is superb and tastefully decorated, the rooms immaculate, with attention to detail a priority. Breakfast is vast and sets you up for the day. We needed restaurants during our stay and Katya booked these for us. We went to the wine shop just down the road from Chez Montiz and had a little wine tasting, again sorted by Katya which was lovely. I would highly recommend this place to stay and if we are ever back in this area, would not hesitate to return. Thank you both, it felt like we were sharing your home.

The hosts are very friendly, openhearted and make you feel welcome immediately. It's a beautiful house and view in a wonderful area. The room is extraordinary and nothing is missing. Breakfast is a treat, everything is made with love and exquisite in every detail. The bathroom is very special and luxurious. Everything about this place makes it unique. You will receive lots of information about the area and get super tips. Your car is safe here on the premise with Steve and a closed gate - and if you are lucky Steve lets you peek into the garage ;-)

Great bed and breakfast owned by very friendly and hospitable people. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom alone was larger than the two rooms we booked in Paris combined. The bed was comfortable and with a huge TV. The area was beautiful and peaceful. The breakfast was nice and fresh. In general it was a great experience and we recommend it for everyone.
