“Calm spot”
The location out of the party centre is quite and calm. A few minutes. Walk will bring you back to the centre and there are few shops and restaurants on the way. The host is very calm and all basic needs are there inc. A small kitchen

“Yes, you can have a calm place in Montañita!”
Omar’s hostel is a hidden gem for those who want to enjoy Montañita but still have a peaceful, authentic place to relax. Omar is such a kind, open, and experienced host – he shared great local tips, showed me around, and made sure I had the best time. The vibe is like staying with friends – super welcoming. I stayed in a colorful SpongeBob-themed room with blue, sea-inspired walls and a view of banana trees and singing birds. Just amazing. There’s a well-equipped shared kitchen, it’s close to town, and the private gym is a huge bonus for sporty travelers. Highly recommended!

The room was spacious and the bed had a mosquito net. The common areas are comfortable and the kitchen was practical. It's a quiet area at night, no traffic or noisy neighbours.

Casa surf Arrels is a great spot to relax, away from the hustle and bustle of Montañita. It's located in a quiet area, just a 10-minute walk from the beach. The rooms are spotless with comfortable beds, and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. The place is run by a friendly and laid-back family who are always around if you need anything. Highly recommended for a chill and comfortable stay!

“fun surf hostal!”
I like how the place is far enough from the center to be quiet and more in nature. The room is comfortable, with it's own bathroom and a kitchen to use. Omar is friendly and has a lot of good useful information.

Best hotel I have ever been. that underground chill vibe was amazing . Omar is great owner you can ask hom everything and we went also to party together with his friends. Amazing real place to stay!
