“A slice of heaven on earth”

It’s impossible to put into words how beautiful the setting is. Four of us, who have been in Italy almost two weeks, stayed in the villa and each of us said it was the most spectacular scenery we had seen - and there’s a lot of tough competition! It is the most calm and relaxing environment, with a short 10 min walk into Montalcino itself, which was also our favourite of all the villages we visited in the region. The property itself is so rustic and charming with the most beautiful hand painted details on the walls throughout - truly never stayed anywhere like it and couldn’t recommend it more. Spectacular value for money.

The first weekend of October is a spectacular time to come here. The villa enchants with its details and truly takes you back in time – words can hardly describe the magical atmosphere of this place. It’s a house with a soul, full of history, respect for nature, and love for life. The views from the villa are simply breathtaking. The owner is a wonderful lady – kind, helpful, and genuinely warm-hearted. Thank you for allowing us to experience such beautiful moments in your home. It was hard to leave… We will definitely come back.

“Excellent stay in quiet location”

We love Montalcino! We’ve been there many times and stayed in several different rooms and apartments, but for us, this was the best. The house is built over the old cantina so it’s got a lot of history. The owner, Monica, is wonderful and was very responsive to messages and the house is spacious and comfortable. It is clear they really cared about making this a beautiful place. Everything has been done tastefully down to the smallest of details. The bathroom had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The main bedroom is spacious with a very comfortable bed and an amazing view out over the valley. The location is terrific, right in the middle of the vineyards and very quiet, just a short walk into the center of town. Monica gave us a great tour of the vineyards and the winery operation and a wonderful wine tasting was included in the booking. We’ll definitely go back. Highly recommended!

“Beautiful vineyard in gorgeous Montalcino”

I can't express how stunningly beautiful this vineyard is. What a spectacular view to wake up to each morning. I adored the grounds. Monica is a fantastic, such a lovely lady. The house is simple and traditional but had everything we needed. The Wi-Fi doesn't really work, but we didn't need it. The wine tasting with Mateo was superb. It's a short walk into town for coffee and dinner. I would stay 100 times over. Loved it!

The location was wonderful - so close to Montalcino but felt we were in the country. Just a 10 minute walk into Montalcino. Really enjoyed the free wine tour. Hosts were very welcoming.

It’s location among the vines and olive trees but also only a short (but steep) walk into Montalcino. Spacious, comfortable and relaxing. Very peaceful. Wonderful views and scenery. Interesting fruit trees! A complimentary wine tasting was included. This was both interesting and enjoyable. Our hosts were very helpful but more instructions as to how to use the cooker and where to find equipment like the ironing board would have been useful.
