“Chiara's Otello Guest House was Perfecto”

Chiara was very proactive in communicating detailed instructions on how to reach Otello Guest House, how to access the garage and a number of excellent suggestions for restaurants and wineries. She continued to check in remotely during our stay to make sure everything was going well and to see if there was anything more she could do. Otello itself is perfectly located, just inside the city wall, so there was no need to for a long drive through narrow difficult to navigate streets - all making driving, parking and luggage handling very easy. There is simply one flight of stairs to negotiate with your luggage. The apartment is accurately portrayed in the photo's. We found Montalcino a rightsized town for us - not too big and overcrowded, but big enough to spend a half day walking around and getting to know it. We had a brilliant week there using it as our base to explore southern Tuscany for a week.

Amazing location in a quiet area of the town. But still close to walk in. Aside from the tastefully decorated apartment, the level of communication was exceptional. Not too much info to be overwhelming, but not too little that anything was left out or needed checking. Replies were personal and speedy. Highly recommended!!!!

Perfect place to stay on your trip in south Tuscany. So cozy, so clean, extremely comfortable and the location is absolutely wonderful. The Private parking spot in a closed garage is a huge bonus. You definately can tell the apartment is run by an open minded, motivated owner. Thank you, Chiara for your warm hospitality and great recommendations for places to visit in the area. I really hope to visit this beautiful place again.

Chiara is a terrific host/owner! Not only did she make sure that everything was in order after a stormy night, she was also very enthusisatic in sharing her knowledge of Montelcino and more of the wine makers in the area. We look forward to staying there again!

Everything. The location is perfect, the apartment is beautiful, quiet and extremely well equipped. There is really everything you need. The beds are very comfortable. The shower has a very good pressure. Chiara (the owner) is a pearl. She gave us a lot of good recommendations and was extremely helpful when I had a problem with my car. A place to come back to!
