Overview
Hotel Vecchia Oliviera is located in the historic center of the city of Brunello and stands next to Porta Cerbaia, one of the six ancient gates to the city of Montalcino. Offering a sweet and savoury buffet breakfast service, an outdoor pool, a panoramic garden and terrace. WiFi is free of charge. Guests can book in advance a private parking, the service is not included in the room rate. The rooms are equipped with TV, minibar, air-conditioned, toiletries, hairdryer and free toiletries. Pienza is a 25-minute drive away while Siena is 40 km away.

“Classy, comfortable”
Classy hotel, loved the pool even though the street noise disturbs the relaxation on the lounges. Super comfortable and clean. We only stayed for a night and our bikes were safely stored in a locked shed. We had a free breakfast but needed to leave early to catch a train from Buonconvento, the manager prepared a breakfast pack for us instead which was greatly appreciated.

This is a lovely, small boutique hotel just inside the old town wall. It has onsite parking, a stunning view, helpful staff, comfortable rooms and is a short stroll to the town piazza

We spent four nights at Hotel Vecchia Oliviera. The hotel is elegant and traditional, with magnificent views over the valley. Its location near the entrance of the town makes parking easy. It’s just a short walk to the center, where you’ll find charming shops and many excellent restaurants. Our room was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious — you definitely won’t start your day hungry! The garden is a lovely place to relax, and the pool was a fantastic bonus, especially with temperatures reaching 33–36°C.
