A wonderful location, typical Tuscany, like from a movie. A small town with 2 typical restaurants (it doesn't matter which one you choose), a wonderful atmosphere for relaxation. A huge garden where you can sit in the evening and drink wine under the gazebo from the vineyard. Montalcino is about 10 minutes away by car. An excellent place to stay just under the walls of an attractive old village. 5 minutes (uphill) walk to the village square. The ability to laze in the garden is an added advantage and there are outstanding views of the countryside. The host is friendly and helpful.

Location was just outside a very quaint old village of San' Angelo with outstanding views of surrounding countryside with great trattorias in the village just a short walk to the village. The large backyard had nice seating areas to enjoy the olive gardens and the views. While the booking was without breakfasts, the host provided ample treats and the apartment was fully equipped with coffee maker, as well as full set of kitchen ware to cook anything. With prior communication, check in was right on time and the host and her father were very kind and helpful. We were very pleased to use this accommodation to explore this area of Tuscany, with easy access to Montalcino and Montepulciano.

“A comfortable, enjoyable stay in a great location.”

Breakfast was generous, cereal, cakes, biscuits, jams, coffee and tea. The bed was very comfortable and shower was excellent. The garden w a lovely outdoor space.

This is an incredibly pleasant place in the heart of Tuscany! A very picturesque, photogenic area around, a huge master's garden where you can walk, take sunbaths or dine in a gazebo entwined with grapes. The views are mesmerizing! Very spacious two-story house (we rented part of the house on the lower floor). Absolutely everywhere was clean (even the dishes were all well washed, although this is not always the case when renting). The kitchen is well equipped. The living room is divided into two parts, one of them can be used as a second bedroom (although it is partially separated by a curtain). In the main bedroom and in this additional one, as well as in the hallway and in the bathroom, there were spacious wardrobes and hooks everywhere. Very often they are not in the rented dwelling, and then there is absolutely nowhere to put or hang clothes and other things, but in this house there was nothing to complain about at all! Very nice hostess Elena, quickly responded to messages; met and saw us off and helped us with advices (communication in English without problems). Elena also provides breakfast. This is self-service, but she brought us everything we needed (milk, bread, buns, cookies, jam, honey, juice, tea and coffee). For the baby was prepared a crib with everything you need. When it didn't rain, the children enjoyed spending time outside. The garden is just wonderful! I would definitely return to this place! Tuscany and this house fell in love with me!

“Lovely apartment in a beautiful village”

The check-in was easy and the apartment was perfect, so clean and comfortable, and with secure parking. The views from the apartment were beautiful and the location was within walking distance to some great bars and restaurants. We loved our stay at S. Angelo in Colle and Montalcino, highly recommend.

“Quiet and clean apartment with an amazing sunrise view”

Amazing view from the garden and the bedroom window. San Angelo is a lovely small town which is definitely worth to visit. You can enjoy your wine from one of the winery's in complete calmness :) Elena is a nice and welcoming host :)
