Excellent location with front Tuscany view which is breathtaking. The service at the hotel restaurant is exceptional especially for our dinner! Plus the view at the restaurant is breathtaking! One hour private spa is another highlight and special of what the hotel offers.

I recently stayed at Capanna Suites for two nights, and it was truly more than perfect. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. The room was beautifully designed, combining modern comfort with authentic Tuscan style, and the views over the hills were absolutely breathtaking. It’s the kind of place where you just want to pause and take it all in. The service was exceptional- every member of the staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our stay. A special highlight was the restaurant „Il Passaggio “: the food was simply amazing, from breakfast to dinner, with high-quality ingredients and a cozy atmosphere. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious escape in Tuscany. I can’t wait to come back.

The resort is well equipped and has a cosy tuscan atmosphere with a good view on Val d Orcia and is really close to Montalcino and other popular sights. The resort is clean, modern, the garden is cute. The receptionist, waiter and cleaning managers were nice and smiley.

Wonderful property overlooking the Tuscan Vally; simply breathtaking views. Bed extremely comfortable and spacious, shower had a great amount of power and plenty of amenities provided.

“Snakes at the Spa and Disappointing Breakfast”

The hotel blends rustic charm with high-tech touches, but we encountered some problems. I did extensive research on luxury hotels in Tuscany — it was my honeymoon, and I wanted the best. Reviews played a big role in my decision, so I think it’s important to share my experience to help others. Breakfast was disappointing. We only found out on the last day that we could request items like cheese, bacon, and so on. The buffet only included sweet options: butter, bread rolls, and pastries — but no cheese, ham, or cold cuts. For the price we paid, I found that quite underwhelming. We saw a couple ordering bacon and then asked if they could also bring us cheese and ham. They did, but if those items are available, guests should be informed or at least given a menu. They ask about eggs, but the lack of cold cuts was very disappointing. We’re in Tuscany — no local cheese? No ham at a luxury hotel breakfast? Would it really be that hard to provide a menu or simply let guests know? The room was good, with a comfortable bed and a great bathroom. They also provide slippers to use during the stay. Unfortunately, our spa experience was very negative. All guests are entitled to one hour of spa access per stay . We had been traveling for 20 days, were tired, and really looking forward to this much-talked-about relaxing moment — it was our honeymoon, after all. But it turned into chaos. Within the first five minutes, two snakes appeared. We had to call the staff, who tried to deal with the situation using a broom (which even broke). The snakes ran in one direction, the staff in another, and the relaxing atmosphere completely vanished. We were given a quick apology and nothing more. No gesture of courtesy or compensation. I found that extremely impolite. I understand this is a natural setting, but these were two snakes — and who knows how many more there could be? The first was near the pool, and the second was found in a curtain when they tried to get rid of the first one.

Our stay at Capanna Suites was a wonderful experience. The suite was beautifully designed – modern, elegant, and very comfortable. Every detail reflected care and quality. One of the standout features was the setting: breathtaking views over the rolling Tuscan hills, best enjoyed from the stunning infinity pool that blends seamlessly into the landscape. The property is peaceful and impeccably maintained, and the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. A special thank-you goes to Anna, whose warm and caring nature made a lasting impression. Everything worked smoothly, the location is ideal for exploring the area, and we felt completely at ease from the moment we arrived.

The rooms need to be maintained. The bathrooms had mould around the sink and shower cubicle. Bed was not comfortable.
