Perfect location for the region of Montalcino, beautiful views, and Matteo is the perfect host. He gave us lots of recommendations of places to visit in the area, places to eat, and wine and oil tasting. He really knows what’s good, and he’s very friendly.

“What a spectacular place!”

Me and my family had the most amazing stay at Matteo's Antica Grancia Di Quercecchio! We stayed 8 nights and we hade a great time! Matteo was so helpful and kind. He gave us so many tips and helped us with everything, booking restaurant and suggesting where we should to go and visit. The house and its surroundings lived up to all our high expectations. The rooms are spacious and clean and we had the most amazing view from our windows. We also had our own shadow area by the pool and we often had the pool by ourselves. So nice! In ten minutes by car you will reach the beautiful town of Montalcino. There you will find nice restaurants, wine shops, and cafes. Perfect for a nice evening walk or a glass of wine. I sincerely recommend anyone to stay at Matteo's and hope we will have the opportunity to come back again soon!

“Outstanding stay in the heart of Tuscan countryside”

Absolutely wonderful! I’ve completely fallen in love with Quercecchio – words can hardly capture the emotions this place evokes. For me, it was a true oasis of peace, beauty, and freedom. The apartment was spacious, clean, well-equipped, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. Our host, Matteo, was kind and helpful, making us feel truly welcome from the very first moment. And the wine and olive oil? Simply outstanding – among the best I’ve ever tasted! Matteo, thank you for everything. Hopefully, we’ll return next year – we’re already looking forward to it!

The place is picturesque and very quiet. Very spacious flat, extremely clan and tidy. Beds were comfortable, the bathroom was nice. The host was very friendly and helpful, he even let us come back after checkout time to shower after we'd run a trail running race in the vicinity in the morning - the trails were muddy and we were accordingly dirty.

The most beautiful place for spend some days between vineyard with views to Tuscany countryside. Apartmens is like on castle, big space in rooms and the views to nature and sunsets. Pool next to house is perfect for just chillin day. It was very hard to leave this amazing place. Owner is very helpful to recommend some trip around Tuscany and he is so kind 😊 (don’t miss a chance taste some local vine and buy the best suvenyr to home)

Matteo was very accommodating and friendly, we loved staying at this agriturismo which is perfectly located close to Montalcino and other beautiful Tuscan villages. The pool was excellent, rooms sparkling clean, and the location between olive trees and vineyards very romantic. We saw plenty of wildlife, including foxes and wild boar, which was a treat! Very good value for a memorable stay. 10/10

“Beautiful apartment near Montalcino”

It is an old monastery transformed. You have the feeling of travel in time as it is a real old building. The apartment is big. Large dinner room, complete kitchen, nice bedroom, large bathroom. It is less than 15 minutes from Montalcino so you have total silence and close to the city. There is also a great swimming pool. The owner also left at the room some water, milk, bread, coffee so we could do our breakfast.

Matteo was really nice and helpful. He helped us with the planning and gave tips what to visit. The appartment was great and it has plenty of space.

“Feeling at home in Tuscany, perfect base for discovering the Montalcino area and the Brunello wine”

A bit off the beaten path, this holiday place (and winery) is perfect for a relaxing holiday. You need to follow a 'strada bianche' (or better grigio) in-between the vineyards and olive trees to get to the house (don’t follow the 'google maps' directions as these will confuse you but just follow the “agriturismo” signs) but then you will find a really nice and typical Tuscan convent with (I believe) eight apartments around a patio. The apartment we had was not so new anymore (shower, kitchen, kitchen tools were a bit old) but it all felt authentic, was as expected based on the reviews, was big enough for the 3 of us (including two bath rooms) and with a well behaving airconditioning! The swimming pool was located next to the house (30 meters), and was perfect! Big enough, very clean, good temperature and good chairs with some shade. Our host Matteo was super friendly and helpful. It was the right interaction, making sure we were happy but not too pushy and giving us the time to relax and do it our own way. He gave good tips for the neighborhood and gave a good and personalized wine tour and tasting. Their own Brunello di Montalcino is really good. Perfect spot to discover the Val d’Orcia valley (Montalcino - Pienza – Montepulciano) but also direction Siena – Firenze with the car or even with the bike via the mythical strade bianche, and come back 'home' to relax after a busy and/or hot day.
