Stunning location looking over rolling rural Tuscan hills. Beautifully renovated original farmhouse, immersed us in stone, timber and Tuscan views. Delightful host Mara went above and beyond assisting us when we had difficulties and arrived late. Her home-made yoghurt, jam and tasty baking were delicious treats. We loved starting our mornings with a delicious breakfast, and the facilities were comfortable and well-maintained. The tranquility of the place made it easy to truly relax. One highlight we highly recommend is the dinner you can request – it’s an absolute must-try and a real treat!

A Fabulous place for exploring the best villages in Tuscany. Mara is a fantastic host who provides lovely treats and has all details covered. The hill top location is magical with its amazing views of the surrounding countryside. Montalciano is on an adjacent hill and provides a wonderful distant view. This is more than just a place to stay, it is truly a magical and uplifting experience.

Beautiful appartment in a wonderfully located house. From the top of the hill you have a great view all around. Well equiped location, super friendly hosts and a lot of wildlife close by: badgers, roe deer, fox and porcupine.

Mara, the host, is a wonderful and very pleasant lady who makes amazing homemade products for breakfast. And her homemade yogurt… Mamma mia! The house is nothing like the pictures—it looks so much better in person. Everything is incredible. The house is beautiful, authentic Tuscan style, and has everything you need and more. The yard offers a stunning view, and the sunsets are breathtaking. While sitting in the garden, drinking coffee, you can only hear the sound of birds and nature, with olive groves and vineyards stretching out in front of you. My fiancée and I stayed there for a few days and visited most of Tuscany. I can confidently say that the location of this house is perfect—everything is about 20 minutes away by car. The whole stay felt like being in a movie. We will definitely come back again, but next time, we’ll stay even longer.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The place itself is located on the top of a hill, no neighbors to disturb in any option. Mara, the host was super friendly she provided fresh breakfast made by herself.

An amazing location on a hill top. The appartment is equipped with all you need. There is a very nice garden with a spectacular view over Toscana. The host is second to none. Homemade yoghurt, juice, bread, coffee, tea and biscuits brought to the door for breakfast!

The location is fantastic and offers great views of the Val d'Orcia and is a great starting point for excursions by car, bike or on foot. The host is very friendly and always available. All in all, I have nothing but praise for this accommodation. If possible, we will be happy to return.

A house like from a fairy tale, on a hill, among Tuscan fields. Approximately 1000 m access via a very well-maintained "strada bianca" from an asphalt road. Peace and quiet, but very close to the historic towns of the Val d'Orcia valley. Mara, the owner of the facility, is very nice and helpful, she provides homemade food products. Excellent.

Beautifully placed with view over Tuscan Hills and Montalcino. Small place resulting in peace and quiet Great host Good quality eggs, joghurt and some other products to make yourself breakfast with.

Mara and her family have been amazingly helpful hosts during my stay offering me lifts at times! The homemade yogurts and biscuits were delicious! Thank you Mara!

“A Tuscan retreat with stunning views and great hospitality.”

A wonderfully peaceful place surrounded by the beauty of the Tuscan countryside. The apartment is in a separate building on top of a hill within the farm boundary. It was well equipped with all we needed to cook if we wished, with a full size fridge, and there were eating places not far away. Just a few minutes' drive to Torrenieri, Bienconvento (both of these have Coop supermarkets) or Montalcino. We made day trips to many of the places in the Val D'Orcia, most of them less than an hour. It is under two hours from Florence, where we picked up our rental car and there is plenty of parking. Mara is the most wonderful host, attending promptly to any needs and supplying us with her homemade jams, biscuits, juices and yoghurt. We were able to order a meal cooked by her on one night. She was able to direct us to things to visit, including a wine tasting run by her husband, Marko. The highlight was watching the sunset every evening over the hills.

Mara is an excellent hostess. Her love of the family business is obvious starting with checking in, explaining how things work and making sure you have everything you need. An informative binder is available with a map and day trip recommendations. The accommodation is on a hill about 700m on gravel road. The apartment is spacious, and the views and outdoor shade and seating are comfortable. Inside the apartment is tastefully furnished and well equipped for self-catering. Mara provides homemade baking, juices, and yogurt along with eggs, coffee, tea, and a range of breads and cookies. There is also a washing machine. Highly recommended

Our purpose was to get away from any busy activities, If You are looking quite place and relax then this is perfect place and close to main Toscany attractions at the same time .Mara and her family are lovely friendly people They living about 400m from this lovely cottage house. So close enough to help you if you need something and far enough to stay comfy all time .Plenty space for whole family

The property was without doubt one of the best I’ve ever stayed in, the location was incredible. WiFi (which is important now) was no issue. Mara was also the best host you could ask for, the perfect example of hospitality, she was generous in giving little gifts and treats, honestly if someone told me they’d had a better host then her I’d say they are lying
