“Fantastic, peaceful Masseria , outstanding food”

Wonderful location - close to all the nearby towns but far enough away to feel very peaceful. The place is a fantastic and beautiful spot - the pool is great, the grounds are lovely and the amenities are good too. The standout is the food - breakfast is DELICIOUS and we had all dinners there and it was some of the best food we’ve had in Italy. The staff are so friendly. Highly recommend!!!!

The staff were incredibly friendly and we had a lovely stay with our toddler. The food was local and freshly cooked with flexibility to eat all 3 meals at the Masseria or not, depending on your plan for the day. The location is rural but a short car journey to many of the main destinations in Puglia.

“Amazing stay”

Amazing stay. We were super well welcomed by Palma upon arrival. She even introduced us to all the animals 🙂 super nice breakfast. Very nice bedroom. Super peaceful location . Very nice swimming pool area. My daughter loved feeding the animals and spending time with them. Big highlight of our holidays

Everything! The lovely warm welcome that greeted us, an idyllic setting in a beautiful location. Comfortable and spacious room, with a seaview to behold. Relaxing heated pool and spa! We ate here 2 of the the 3 nights we stayed, and were treated to traditional homecooked cuisine and hospitality. Good location to base yourself for visiting surrounding areas of Puglia, such as Monopoli, Locorotondo, Ostuni etc. However a car is a must! This is a quiet, relaxing countryside retreat, this was our first visit to a Masseria and it did not disappoint. Make sure you sample all the homecooked goodies and buy some of their olive oil!

Very luxury place with a warm personal touch. Very spacious terraces and garden allowing every family to relax and enjoy lunch in their preferred corner, with a private touch. Lovely pool with a superb view. Super friendly. Enjoyed the horses and donkeys coming to greet us in the garden.

“Wonderful food and hospitality - you will not want to leave!”

There are lots of Masseria's in the area but Corte degli Asini really is the best! Wonderful location behind the small town of Montalbano, easy to reach Cisternino, Locorotundo and Ostuni but felt you were in the middle of nowhere. Staff are all very friendly and welcoming. Rooms were large and immaculately kept, air con was powerful which was very welcomed! Pool area is beautiful and the restaurant courtyard is so pretty to sit out in an evening, However, our main reason for choosing to stay was the food - and it did not disappoint!! Breakfast every morning was just superb, so much choice and the freshly squeezed orange juice was wonderful. Lunch was available on request and usually a salad and pasta dish, again all homemade and so tasty. In the evenings, there was the 3 course option with wine and water for around 30-35 euros which was unbelievable value for money compared to other places we looked at. The food was great, some dishes were a bit random - we were told it was the chef fantasy - but so nice to be able to just relax in an evening and not have to venture out if we didn't want to. We even enjoyed a night watching Eurovision with cocktails!! We will def be back!

“Great and relaxing stay”

Very nice, privately-owned and -run Masseria with friendly staff and cute animals, in particular the donkeys. Simple, but charming and clean rooms. Great breakfast, good and moderately-priced restaurant. We would certainly stay at the Masseria again when returning to Puglia.

“Peaceful and relaxing stay in the sun.”

The hosts were really friendly and helpful. The apartment was exceptionally clean, the evening food was very good and excellent value. Breakfast also plenty to choose from. Loved seeing the donkeys on their farm. Pool was lovely. Nice also to have Netflix and Amazon on TV in room. If you want a peaceful and relaxing time, this is the place to be. Thank you for a lovely stay. We would like to return and recommend to others to visit.

My stay beyond exceeded expectations, from the moment I arrived the owner and his staff made me feel so special, they were always conscious of any requests and willing to go above and beyond. I was truly blown away at the hospitality and also the beauty of the property, the grounds are like something from a fairy tale with lots to explore.
