The property is lovely and located in the old part of the town close to the castello etc. The owners Fabio and his wife are charming and very helpful..I wasn’t well for a day of my stay with flu and they couldn’t have been kinder.

Domus Aurea is such a beautiful place in a beautiful village. Even though the weather was not that great we had an awesome night an the B&B. We got lost on our way, so the owner picked us up and drove us to the B&B. The room was really really pretty with a nice view and we even got a free upgrade which was really nice. There is a huge terrace with a beautiful view, where you can enjoy the coffee and croissant which are included. Very recommendable!

Fabio is a great host, with recommendations for bars and restaurants in the town and did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The building and the room we stayed in was beautiful, and the roof terrace was great for looking at the stars!

Very friendly and helpful hosts. A beautiful old house in the centre of town, a few steps from the castle. Very nicely renovated, furnished and embellished with a variety of flowers in pot. Comfortable room, quiet night. Good Wifi. The rooftop terrace is fabulous: view towards the Tyrrhenian Sea, to the Eolian Island and to the hills on the back of town. Sit, relax, enjoy the view, watch the martins and the jackdaws flying in the sky.

The location between the fortress and the town center was perfect. And it had a lovely terrace on the roof.

Gorgeously decorated (the ceiling in our room as fabulous) and what a wonderful historic building! It felt like a privilege to stay there, especially as we were the only guests and no one else was there overnight. Everything very comfortable and I'm sure the terrace would be lovely in the summer. We were given a voucher to get breakfast (a croissant and a coffee) in a café in the main square, which we weren't aware of in advance. Room was cosy and warm, despite the dreadfully cold and windy weather. Easy to find free on street parking nearby. The owners were friendly and helpful - and very glamorous too.
