Properly the most beautiful grounds in Toscany !! The view is amazing! The owners drive for making this place alive and magical is truly successful! Amazing gym and pool area - and great gaming room, basket and tennis - and big pool !

The location is fabulous - in the middle of Tuscan hills, completely removed from the hustle and bustle of city life. The buildings are rustic with modern comforts and there’s a nice swimming pool and farm animals to see.

“unforgettable”
Il Poggio is heavenly. The houses are beautifully scattered across the huge property, each with a space outside to enjoy the stunning nature. The owners are kind, friendly and so thoughtful. The four of us (we have 2 girls) loved spending days there without the need to leave elsewhere at all. We played basketball, bocce, tennis, used the swimming pool every single day. The highlight was the view from the window, all the vinyards & the sunsets. Our girls asked if we could live there forever. It was the most relaxing, soul-enriching holiday. The owners welcomed us with wine, coffee, pasta. What a nice touch that we did not have to look for food after arriving. The coffee moka meant so much to a big coffee drinker like me. We saw beautiful nearby Tuscan towns & found brilliant local restaurants nearby & also had a beautiful dinner at il Poggio one evening. Bruna, the kindest, friendliest local dog, made my daughters’ stay unforgettable. We are definitely coming back.

“Just the perfect stay for a trip to Tuscany. I hope to return some day.”
The staff was superfriendly and accomodating and we felt very much cared for. The location of the property was excellent - on the top of a hill overlooking the beautiful Tuscan landscape. And also in the very middle of all the places you wish to visit during your stay in Tuscany. We enjoyed the pool area very much. We used an electric car to travel to the property and we were very pleased to find an easy solution for charging the car. Our dog was also welcome, which was lovely. As an extra bonus, we found that thyme, sage and rosmary grew right outside the apartment we stayed in, which just made our homecooked meals extra tasty. We also ate in the restaurant and were spoiled with a very delicious meal.

“Great resort with amazing pool - not completely new but nevertheless great!”
As we first arrived we have been impressed by the landscape and the location of the resort. However as we got to our room it was a bit dull and old. However the building was nicely done and in good shape. I guess the rooms habe been at their high around 20 years ago. Nevertheless we had a nice veranda directly opposite to the restaurant and a big basket with groceries was prepared for us in the kitchen of the flat. We also got a bottle of the house wine which was excellent! However I habe to state that the pool is just amazing! It is very spacious and at the. Most parts around 3.5m deep! Amazing! Overall a good experience!

Very nice location on the edge of a small village on a hill as you would imagine in Tuscany. Very friendly staff, super apartments.
