Large well furnished room in a very quiet location. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. It almost seemed like we were staying with friends. The breakfasts were lovely, with plenty of quality items. We especially enjoyed the lovely ham and cheese.

“Great place and wonderfully warm welcoming hosts.”
Marie and Alain are excellent hosts, we selected this area to break our journey North from South West France, it is a short distance off the Autoroute and in beautifully peaceful attractive surroundings. Marie kindly booked us in for dinner at a local restaurant close by which was excellent with good wines and food thus we slept very peacefully. Breakfast is superb, very large choice and served in lovely surroundings - we will certainly visit again.

It’s an absolutely beautiful property in the French countryside, surrounded by greenery. Most of the time the only thing you can hear is birds. The room was perfectly clean, the bed super comfortable, Marie and Alain are wonderful hosts and the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely like to come back soon.

“Lovel location, house and grounds with very private gite facilities.”
Location for us ideal just off the A83 and a very convenient spot to break our journey north towards St Malo. Very quiet and peaceful lovely gite very well appointed and furnished. Very comfortable warm. Hosts lovely and helpful ensured we found a fabulous restaurant for dinner too. We will visit again. Fabulous breakfast included in the price in the main house where Wi Fi was also available.

We had a lovely one-night stay at La Chaignaie. Marie went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable at all times. The room was pretty and clean. The breakfast was like a banquet and everything was delicious. Extremely recommended!

The breakfast was just amazing. Marie and Alain were so kind and welcoming. We wouldn't hesitate to return and hope very much to do so again. The bed was comfortable and it was a much needed peaceful location. Could not have been improved.
