“Best Dog Friendly Stay Ever”
What a stunning pet friendly self catering cottage! Sue goes out of her way to make you and your dogs feel right at home with a doggy bed, custom bowls, an enclosed garden, snuggle blankets for humans and dogs and thoughtful touches like an umbrella in case of rain, a warming muscadel and hot water bottles for cold evenings. Loved every moment.

“Best “Little Gem””
Brilliant “Little Gem” close to the village, this cottage was well equipped, and I loved my brief stay. Good WiFi and the TV had Netflix. Highly recommended and will definitely be back to visit again. Thank you Sue for making my stay brilliant.

“Lovely Private Getaway”

A charming cottage and garden! We felt very welcome and comfortable at The Little Gem…our hosts had thought of everything we might possibly need, providing useful information in a booklet. “Exceptional stay”
What a beautiful place. Super clean, well equipped, comfortable and large. Everything was perfect. The small little details were amazing. Coffee, tea, sugar, milk, biscuits and even a container with some doggy treats. Bathroom had showergel, shampoo, conditioner and hand wash. The bedroom is beautiful, and the bedding was bright white, clean and warm. Even two warn water bottles were provided. There is a lovely braai area, with a bench and pillows and blankets, and all the braai equipment. Even some condiments with spices etc in the kitchen. Sue Even provided yogurt, muesli and honey for bfast. Nice outside area for doggy and undercover parking behind a gate. The interior of the place is SO pretty. Even blankets for the doggies.

“A real gem!”
We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage over the weekend. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how spotless everything was—the cleanliness was truly exceptional! Sue has clearly put a lot of thought into every detail, from the well-equipped kitchen to the cozy touches throughout the space. The location is absolutely stunning—peaceful, scenic, and the perfect place to unwind. We also really appreciated the tasteful decor, which made the cottage feel both stylish and welcoming. A real gem—we’ll definitely be back!
