This little place is exceptional from start to finish. The little pool and hot tub outside are great. Inside has everything you need and bed is very comfortable, brilliant shower and lush little kitchen.

What a beautiful private idyll perfect to unwind and relax. We loved the peace and quiet, the sound of running water, the plunge pool and picking vegetables from the garden. The owners are super helpful but not intrusive. We ordered the braii basket and the meat was excellent, the salad and bread were simple and delicious. Equally the breakfast basket was ample and varied and all products were good quality. The tablecloths, candles and flowers all added to the timeless elegance of the place and we liked the eco ethos. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The minute we drove in the gate I started to relax. This place has a great "feel" to it, more like a home than a hotel. The cottages and surrounds are just beautiful. If we are in the Western Cape again, we will make sure to visit again.

The cottage feel was fabulous and we appreciated the attention to detail. Teas, coffees, milk, cotton buds etc. everything you might need was there. Ursula the cat was also a welcomed visitor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We ordered the Braai Basket which we enjoyed tremendously, all ingredients were local, fresh and of great quality! Also enjoyed the special touches like free fresh farm eggs, great coffee, rusks, lovely bath products etc.

Loved the attention to detail, and the beautiful finishes. The cottage was spotlessly clean, and was exactly as you see in the pictures. The hot tub was great, and we loved the pool too. High quality items in the kitchen (JAN cutlery) and bathroom (Country Road towels), etc.

What an amazing stay. The beds were comfortable, the hot tub and plunge pool were awesome, the garden was nice and spacious, the property is closed off and private, and we felt safe throughout. And so quiet and peaceful... The property is also in the centre of the town, and very close to all the restaurants. There is a grocery store nearby, however Wanda is happy to cater for you as well. The attention to detail on the property is incredible. The place had everything you could need, quite literally. The bathroom had robes and plenty of towels, even cotton pads to wipe your face. Irons, insect repellant, shampoo, lotion, you name it. Same story for the kitchen. Coffee, tea, more than enough pots and pans and dishes, etc. You literally just need to come here with clothes and personal items, the rest is covered. Wanda was incredibly friendly and nice, introduced us to the place and left us to enjoy it. Our little chihuahua also loved it. So many things to sniff, and wide area to roam around. We loved it, and will be coming back without a doubt.

We had a wonderful stay. It was short and sweet but we really felt at home and we'll catered for. The cottage was comfortable and luxurious, it had everything we needed and we were able to fully relax and enjoy the setting. The pool and hot tub were awesome and we really enjoyed the tasteful design and decor of the space.

Everything was perfect. Olive Stone Cottages is an absolute gem. Peaceful, tastefully decorated and furnished. Wanda, our host was friendly and attentive. We loved both the interior and exterior of the cottage, and the outdoor hot tub was a delight to use during our Winter stay. We look forward to returning again in Summer.
