“Slice of heaven”
Absolutely breathtaking views. Would highly recommend catching a sunrise and sunset. Great braai area with extremely well-kept facilities. The outdoor heated shower and wood fire hot tub was an absolute treat. Plenty of wildlife surrounding the sight was terrific.

“An amazing retreat from the busy life we all seem to have.”
Oakron is a beautiful hideaway, tucked away amongst oak trees and the mountains. The tent is well equipped with everything you need to relax and chill; WiFi, plunger, deep bath, bush jacuzzi, outdoor shower..honestly a wonderful retreat from the busyness of life. Bed is comfortable, patio come with an amazing view, hard to beat if you want to escape.

“A place to return to again and again”
This place is a slice of paradise. The views are incredible, the tent is well equipped with everything you need, including a fabulous bathtub inside and kol kol outside, and the location is so nicely secluded that you feel like you're completely on your own. Our dog had an absolute blast as well!

We escpecially liked the location - beautiful mountain views and amazing bird songs. The hot tub was an absolute pleasure after our cycling in the mornings as well as in the evenings watching the milky way.

Quite a clean and isolated glamp. The neighboring farms can be loud, which disturbs the experience but it is a very peaceful area that is easy to get to.

“Amazing - would give it 11/10 if there was an option”
This is the best bnb I have been to throughout 1 month traveling in SA. I went there for a soul searching solo break. For me it was perfect from all perspectives. And I’m a picky guy. Wish I could stay longer!

“Amazing, totally worth the drive”
Everything was great and well organized. It was clean and cosy. The experience is great. Just mind, it can get cold (also during summer). There is a heater and a bed warmer, but take some warm clothes as well.

“Fantastic stay at Oakron”
The entire stay was amazing. The place is absolutely stunning and very peaceful. I would definitely recommend for any couple looking for an escape from the busy city life. This is an absolute great escape from technology to simply enjoy nature The bath tub was absolutely stunning, especially during the evenings because it gets extremely cold up in the mountains so the extra large bath was a super nice treat for us

“Glamping at Patatsfontein and batteries are charged!”
Oakron is very well situated at the foot of the mountain and from inside the view is stunning..totally relaxing! The stone built in hot tub is by far the easiest hot tub I ever light ... no hazzles. We were welcome with a warmup hot tub and heat could easily be control. We love the spacious open plan with everything on hand. We left Oakron, Patasfontein filled with memories forever!
