“Elegant stay for seasoned travelers.”

We loved the elegance and beautiful surroundings. The room was bespoke and the bathroom beautiful and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the staff well trained and friendly. The location is prime. We will definitely return to stay at Monte Vista again.

“A safe haven to relax and explore”

All personnell attentive without being intrusive. Each person on duty during our stays (this was our third time) is calm, intelligent, and goes out of their way to serve us. This time, the guesthouse was our base from which we had to manage my father's funeral. The personnell were like parents and a safe place to come home to. They comfort my wife and went the extra mile to nurture her, without smothering her.

Great stay over. Wonderful staff. Booked dinner reservations and went beyond the call of duty.

Gem of a find (and at short notice due to change of plans). Staff could not have been more polite, welcoming of helpful. Massive thanks to Devon for his great guitar playing/singing and for staying so late to allow me to watch the Arsenal game in the bar. Delightful boutique hotel with wonderful breakfast, breath taking rooms, good restaurant recommendations and an all round brilliant 2 night stay.

It’s a beautiful guesthouse in a peaceful location not far from the centre of the town. Lovely swimming pool and gardens and very friendly, helpful staff. Delicious breakfast.

Excellent breakfast. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated. Garden surroundings and swimming pool were very appealing and well maintained . Staff were friendly and efficient

Such a nice place to stay! Spacious, airy room. Lovely shower. Ample cupboard space. Loved the good coffee provided with a jar of rusks! The gardens are lush. We really enjoyed our quick breakaway

I loved how clean the rooms were and the gardens and pool was well kept. The staff were super friendly and there was live entertainment. Evenings were quiet.

The garden and pool area was lovely and we enjoyed having tea outside on our patio
