Overview
Located in the heart of Montagu, this lodge offers non-smoking rooms and a gourmet restaurant serving game dishes. Free parking is available. Cape Town is a 2-hour drive away. Mimosa Lodge is set in a renovated historic building and offers rooms with an Art Deco interior. Some rooms overlook the sub-tropical garden and others have access to the Victorian verandah. Guests can try a variety of regional specialities such as Ostrich in Mimosa’s restaurant. A wide selection of local and international wines is also available. Relaxation facilities include a croquet lawn and an outdoor pool that is open throughout the year. There are nature trails and hot springs nearby can be explored using the lodge’s rental bikes. Mimosa is a short drive away from Robertson and Bonnievale.

“A comfortable stay in a lovely historic hotel.”
I loved staying in the historic building. The location was handy. I appreciated getting help carrying my baggage in. The special breakfast pack I received because of my early departure was much appreciated.

Excellent location, great breakfast, comfortable clean room. Aircon/Heater fully functional. Staff very helpful. Good supper in the restaurant.

“Lovely and comfortable accommodation”
The accommodation was excellent and the bed comfortable, however would have liked to have a tv in our room. Their restaurant serves excellent and tasty meals. I had a Lamb Shank that was most definately the gest I gave ever tasted!!!!

Very quaint. Comfortable bedding with crisp white linen. The restaurant is fantastic. A hidden gem, it could very well be Michelin Star worthy. We had the most incredible steak for dinner and our breakfast the next morning was equally as delightful. Staff were very attentive and pleasant. The little pub with its comfortable fireplace lounging area was a great chill out zone before dinner

Perfect location... very friendly staff... super breakfast. We also had dinner in their restaurant which was excellent. Water and complimentary dessert wine in the room. Lovely outdoor area... fireplace in the bar... secure parking. We had n lovely stay in a very beautiful town on Route62.

“Pleasant.”
Location is excellent. Breakfast was good. The aircon wasn't making any heat. The curtains are so thin you can see through them and it doesn't block out outside light at night.

“Lovely quaint spot”
Lovely quaint building with beautiful garden and swimming pool. Really excellent restaurant- great food, service and value. We had a veranda upstairs where we could have our wine whilst watching the world go by. Quiet street
