“Magazine -worthy house in Montagu”

Beautiful house overlooking an expanse of gardens with flowers and fruit trees. Huge glass windows on all sides give a sense of space . The two big bedrooms each have an ensuite bathroom and an outdoor shower filled with greenery! The main room opens out onto a wide verandah and then onto the guest part of the gardens, private pool and braii area - almost a room in its own right. The whole house is spacious and airy with tasteful furnishings and artwork. Not only would I come back here in a heart beat, I would like to live here! Best airbnb we've ever been to.

Absolutely a wonderful stay! Immaculate home immersed in a wonderful garden and a fabulous braai area, kitchen fantastically equipped, dream beds, very comfortable big volume ideal also for a long stay! Honesty bar is a very welcoming feature and fresh bread, milk and farm butter on arrival. The owners are just friendliest and most accommodating! We’ll certainly book again!

A wonderfully well-maintained house with very friendly and discreet owners. Excellently equipped! We really appreciated the bread and butter for breakfast, as well as the homemade biscuits.

Loved the location and the peace. We deliberately spent time at the house enjoying all it had to offer. Beautifully furnished and offered everything you would need. Sadly the wind hampered our full enjoyment of the braai area.

Comfortable beds. Lots of natural light and open air spaces. Kitchen fully stocked. Shaded car port. Very large braai area with all facilities. Lots of chairs and tables everywhere. Excellent pool that was welcome during the hot days. Very friendly and helpful owners. Privacy was superb. Walking distance to the village.

From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and assisted by Michele and Martin. They were so friendly and helpful. The house is absolutely stunning and the attention to detail is impeccable. The outdoor pizza oven and braai area is fantastic and we so enjoyed spending our time and admiring the beautiful gardens and pool area. The location is great, walking distance from town, restaurants and shops. Safe and secure parking is available.

“Even more beautiful than the pictures”

Tons of wow factor--from the modern interior decor to the stunning views from the porch to the cozy beds and beautifully spacious kitchen. We had guests coming in from Los Angeles and New York stay here for our wedding weekend and despite the splendor of their own home locales, they were blown away by Magnifik and wished they could have stayed longer. It's rare to find such a refined villa owned by such warm, chilled, and helpful hosts. Definitely recommended--awesome value for money in a superb location!

“First class property with beautiful views.”

Beautifully designed, extremely comfortable and well equipped house. The view was great from the house and the pool. Easy walk into Montegu. Owner Martin is helpful and charming . They live at bottom end of the very pretty garden but are discreet and unobtrusive . We were impressed at how much was provided for our comfort, coffee pods , quality shower products, loads of ice, a well stocked ‘honesty bar’, starter pack of groceries etc etc, The photos don’t do justice to this lovely place. The outdoor showers are wonderful (as are the indoor ones) and both bedrooms are equally well appointed so ideal for 2 couples travelling together. Highly recommended

Absolutely everything. A beautifully appointed home away from home with outstanding attention to detail, exquisite views and stunning garden. Apart from the gorgeous home, we enjoyed making use of the pizza oven. Martin and Michelle are exceptional hosts, going out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The villa is gorgeous set in lovely grounds with amazing views . Michele and Martin were excellent hosts and the bread , butter , water etc they had on arrival for us was very welcome . The design and furniture in the villa was 5 star with fabulous beds , outdoor showers and linen . The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked too.
