“Home away from home”
Rented the two bed cottage. Better than the pictures. Farm cottage feel. Plenty space. Modern bathroom. Amazing shower. Comfortable beds and pillows. Good linen. Warm lighted lamps next to bed. Kitchen with everything we needed. Huge outside area directly outside the cottage. Animals. Mountain and green view. Removed from the road so I found to be very quiet and peaceful.

“A perfect weekend getaway to restore your balance and harmony.”
The Owners were incredibly friendly and very helpful. Michelle took the time to show all great spots in town on a map and also suggested hikes around the town. The pool was cool after being in 40 degree heat all day and the braai facilities were top notch as well. The property itself is gorgeous and incredibly peaceful. The views were breathtaking and everything you need is walking distance from the property. I also felt incredibly safe and will definitely be returning, next time as a solo traveler for a pamper and chill weekend.

“Great place to stay in Montagu”
My experience started when I sent the owners a note about arriving early (and cycling) - and it was not a problem for them. When I arrived, they gave me a warm welcome. And the place is really lovely. The pool was great to cool my body after a morning run/hike. And the A/C in the room was a life saver when temperatures reached 39 degrees.

Michelle and Jeroen are mega friendly people and know the town so well. Nothing was too much effort to ensure I enjoyed my stay. I wanted a place to rest and clean up for the day ahead. Longh acres ticked all the boxes. And the view from their property is just too beautiful. Highly recommended.

Wonderful view. Tranquil location and lovely sitting and surroundings really enjoyed the whole experience there. Super friendly house. everything in the town is within walking distance which was wonderful each day.

“Peace in the heart of Montaqu”
Myself and partner enjoyed every minute.. owners are super awesome..Beautiful mountain views animals and gr8 pool for those hot days.. Spent alot of time relaxing and enjoying everything this property offered very peaceful.. Would highly recommend it to anyone and will definitely go again..Just a beautiful place..
