“Lank-Gewag Cottage a gem outside Montagu”
The cottage is in a beautiful setting between two mountain ranges amongst the orchards of a working fruit farm. It's beautifully furnished and the beds are very comfortable. The hot tub is great with a wonderful view and decent dry wood is supplied to fire the hot tub and the braai.

We enjoyed the remoteness of the accommodation. If you are looking to escape the rat race, then this is your place. It is very rustic, with no electricity. The cottage was comfortable and the Kolkol (wood fired hot tub) was great.

“Great location but the description needs updating”
We booked this cottage for two night booking.com for four people. We loved the look of the rustic charm the cottage had and were drawn to the outdoor patio with a great braai, view and hot tub. It is in a stunning location that is very quiet and peaceful. The cottage is equipped well for self catering.

The hot tub was honestly the best part of the stay. Spent hours relaxing after a long day of traveling.

Fantastic stay, if you are looking for bright lights, computers and gadgets this is not the place for you as it has no electricity. However for me that is an absolute bonus, a plug point to charge your phone, a hot tub and views to enjoy, a fridge to keep the beers cold and a braai to enjoy. Pure Bliss. Thank you.

Beautiful private setting in the orchards. Comfortable beds with great bedding. Nice hot shower. Got used to not having electricity, and really appreciated the LED lights! Hot tub was great.

If you are looking for a tranquil stay with beautiful scenery and no distractions, this is the place for you! The host, Penny, is lovely and very friendly! The accommodation is exactly what we needed to get away from technology and the hustle and bustle.
