It had character and was in an excellent location especially for walking to lots of eateries. The room was a great size and the pool area was lovely

“Lovely place in Montagu, great hostess, restaurants in walking distance.”
A beautiful historical house lovingly furnished and with a swimming pool. We were there with our son and his family who stayed in the family room. After dinner and after the children had gone to bed we sat in the lovely garden. Nadja gave us wine glasses and ice cubes. There is even a guest fridge in the kitchen. The next morning she spoiled us with a magnificent platter of fruit together with muesli, granola and yogurt followed by fried eggs, bacon and toast. We had the best time there and can highly recommend!

The property was very South African! It was lovely. The host recommended so many places to eat after finding out what we liked. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful with more if you wanted it. Everything was clean and fresh and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of hot water and clean towels and bedding.

“Comfortable but disappointing attitude”
Cleanliness and comfortable beds. Breakfast was marvelous on both mornings. Braai area covered able to use even when it was raining.

Beautiful old vintage house. Comfortable beds and clean bathrooms . The entertainment area was a bonus. Breakfast was filling. 7 mins drive to Avalon Springs which was a big plus.
