A beautiful budget friendly place to overnight or visit for longer, family orientated, clean with friendly staff. Property was booked for Contractors and had everything required during their stay. Will definitely use again.

I stayed here when my daughter was 2y. She is now 16y. The cottages now are modernly equipped. The place is still beautiful. I see donkey is still there. Part of the family I guess.

We unexpectedly ended up at De Bos Cottage at the last minute, but we were warmly welcomed, and the location is very peaceful.

It’s a great location with convenience of wood and ice on site to purchase. Shops are also over close by.

Such a tranquil setting with horses and lush green lawns. It's also pet friendly so you can take your fur-baby with. The pool was very refreshing and welcome with the hot weather we were blessed with. The cottage was sufficiently equipped with all the necessary items needed, although a hairdryer will be welcome.

The location was nice and it’s close to shops so if you forgot anything you can just go to the grocery store not too far away. It’s quite peaceful

I really like the location as it was in the 1st part of the town and it was very quiet. This i enjoyed. Also just petting the horses and raking a dip in the lovely pool relaxed me a lot Thanks.

“Farm life is the best life!”

The farm life feel to the whole place, the horses and donkeys roaming around the property. Love the Border collies, that it is pet friendly, the mountain views, the bird song in the morning. Very close to town and all the restaurants and shops. Was a very relaxing stay! Just what we needed, thank you! :)

Staff were friendly and open. Checked in on us and allowed the kids to groom the donkey, assisted us with anything we needed

The manager was super friendly, moved us to a larger cottage because he didn't want us to be disturbed by the wifi company who was fixing a problem in the cottage we were supposed to stay in. It is a peaceful, lovely, farm like atmosphere which my daughter loved. We had a nice swim in the farmstyle pool and my daughter loved that there were horses nearby. There is plenty of space for your kids to run around and very safe. My daughter did not want to leave and I felt the same. Would definitely recommend staying here

“Lovely, comfortable weekend away in the beautiful area of Montagu.”

The venue is in walking distance of the main street of Montagu where the shops, weekly market and restaurants are situated. The venue is pet friendly and my two dogs loved the freedom that they had to run around. The campsite is well maintained, no electrical points though. The Vygie cottage is perfect for 2 people and although its structure was simple, the bed was very comfortable and the cottage is well equipped. The manager Kyle was friendly and attended to any issues that we had immediately and also recommended local eateries and attractions.
