Location is ideal, quick stop from the highway. Short walk to both the little town as well as shopping center. Staff very professional and friendly. The spa + gym were also great.

“Too expensive !”
The castle and surroundings are superb. Funny to go from one building to another, looks like a posh university campus and it is very pleasant. The swimming pool is perfect, very quiet. However the changing room is like 9 square meters for probably 30 lockers so be ready to receive a few elbows punches when people get dressed…. The sauna is “textile free” and mixed gender. This spa area is kind of busy. Don’t forget your flip-flops. Food: there is gluten free options! 👏🏼 One single size bedrooms are okay.

Rooms are clean, modern and equipped with all conveniences. The hotel is conveniently located to enable a visit to the town. Parking is on site.

“Top-notch spa, perfect breakfast, caring staff and thoughtful touches + in a castle! Love it!”
I love coming back to Schloss Montabaur. The care that the staff have for hotel guests, top-notch, not crowded spa area, massages, thoughtful touches around the place, very tasty food are all highlights every time I stay there. We went there this time for our anniversary weekend and it was absolutely amazing!
