This family-run Hotel is located on the scenic Eifelsteig route in the Eifel National Park, 4.5 km from Monschau City. It offers free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, bar, a shared lounge and garden in Monschau. here is a children's playground and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. The contemporary-style rooms are fitted with a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a private bathroom with a hairdryer and a shower. Complimentary mineral water is included. Varied breakfast buffets are prepared at the Venngasthof Zur Buche every day. In the evenings, guests are welcome to try food from the Eifel region in the onsite restaurant. The guest house is a great base for hiking and cycling excursions on the Hohes Venn plateau. The Vennbahntrasse cycling route lies only 2 km away and the Eifelsteig hiking path is only 300 metres from the property. Trips in a horse-drawn carriage and electric bike rental can also be arranged. Free secure storage for bicycles is provided by Venngasthof Zur Buche on request.

Such a beautiful area to visit. The hotel is excellent and the food in the restaurant is outstanding. First impressions are everything and on arrival I knew I’d chosen well. Really warm welcome. Nothing was to much. Really helpful staff and a warm welcome. Look forward to finding a reason to return. Oh wait there is. Perfect location. Great facilities. And did mention the food is delicious 👌

The staff were very nice and friendly. They were smiling and friendly all the time even though they were very busy in the restaurant and I checked in after the scheduled time (because I got lost on the road). The meal and breakfast in the restaurant were really good. Room is clean and functional.

Lovely room and shower, great breakfast and nice to be able to lock up the bicycles in a shed and to have easy and free parking at the premises. We would love to come back another time.

“Very nice hotel on the countryside”
- Good, rural location: great if you are in the area to go hiking - The chef (owner?) is a little bit of a strange personality 🤔 - Restaurant serves delicious food and many choices 👌 - Dogs are welcome (+10€ for cleaning) allthough it appeared not everybody of the Crew liked them as much. - A lot of parking - Room was clean, quiet, comfortable,... Perfect Before I forget: Breakfast was TOP

Very friendly staff. Loved the location close to Monschau and Eifel national park. Beautiful building, room was spotless and lovely decor. Bed also very comfortable. Excellent breakfast, great to start the day after a good meal. It was a shame their restaurant was closed this time, next time we will eat in as well.

After a warm welcome, we were shown to a very comfortable, well equipped room with modern armchairs and a settee. Temperatures outside were near freezing so we really appreciated the underfloor heating in the bathroom. Breakfast and dinner were excellent, served by very professional staff. A happy experience all round.

“Great place to stay for hiking and biking”
Really nice guesthouse close to the famous Vennbahn and many of the hiking trails in the nearby Eifel and Ardennes. Great facility for bikes, separate garage with tools and charging points for ebikes. And when you're done with your tour you can relax at the bar or enjoy really good food at the restaurant. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

“Good base to explore the region”
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed comfortable to ensure a good night’s sleep. In addition to that, the breakfast was impeccable: excellent quality, and lots of choice!
