“Lovely well-appointed house in beautiful area”
Lovely location, in a very quiet village, overlooking a meadow. The house was very well appointed, with a sauna, a whirlpool, a pellet oven in the living room, a bbq in the garden, different coffee machines, all kinds of games and toys for kids, including a basketball hoop outside in the garden, and electrics bikes in the shed. I liked that the beds came with 2 types of pillows. The owners live next door and were very nice and hospitable. There are plenty of hlking paths nearby. There were 2 basic restaurants in walking distance and it was a short drive to Monschau, where there was more choice. There were 3 complete bedrooms with double beds, and a room with a pool table that could be moved to the side, and then a foldable bed could be pulled down from the wall. I slept in that bed and it was a good one. Apparently the couch in the living room was a sofa bed, but we didn't use it. The living room and kitchen worked for us (we were with 5 people), but I think it would be a bit snug if the house is used to full capacity.
