Overview
Centrally located in the town of Monschau, Hotel Royal is surrounded by the scenic backdrop of the Rurtal. In summer guests can relax on the outside terrace. All the rooms feature basic décor and come with a TV and an en-suite bathroom with shower. A continental breakfast is served every morning in the dining area. The hotel’s Café Royal serves homemade cakes and confectioneries. Monschau is popular with hikers and cyclist and there is bike storage at Hotel Royal. The Eifel National Park can be reached in 20 minutes by car and has scenic lakes and forests. The border of Belgium is 6 km away and the North Eifel Nature Park can be reached in 10 minutes by car. The A4 motorway is a 35 minute drive away and leads to the Netherlands.

The location is great if you want to stay in the city. It was clean and they provided a baby bed at no charge. Breakfast was included and was good and very convenient. It was easy check-in and out with the hostess and she took care of parking administration.

“Great Hotel in town centre”
- Location is excellent. Right in town centre - Parking - if you are staying only 1 night it's worth paying at the carpark machine (7EUR per day). If more than that the hotel can sort it for (9EUR) for 3 days - Breakfast was excellent - owners super friendly and spoke English. - big room and beautiful old building

The room was clean, cosy and with a lot of space. I stayed for 3 nights and every day I come back the room was cleaned. The location is few minutes from the old city centre and close to all attractions and close by trails. The breakfast was really good with a both sweet and salty options and the staff were really friendly and helpful.

“Cozy and practical location in the heart of Monschau”
Cozy, practical, clean, no-nonsense room in a traditional building right in the center of the historic center of Monschau. It had its quirkiness, such as squeaky wood floors on the corridors, but that more added to the charm than anything else: both the room and the area proved to be quite quiet and tranquil. Good breakfast, comfy beds.

“Nice Spot in a Wonderful Town”
Breakfast excellent with plenty of choices, the attention is excellent. The Hotel is close to all main areas is like in the center of everything, The bathroom is small but very clean and all features worked perfectly. Clean and soft towels. For car parking a nice concept of registration online and access to all parking lots for the complete stay was organized during the check in.
