Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. The comfort was outstanding — the bed and mattress were superb, the air conditioning perfectly regulated, and the shower and jacuzzi made every evening feel like a spa experience. The food was a real highlight. Breakfast featured fresh orange juice and olive oil produced right on the estate, and the home-cooked meals were simply excellent — honest, flavorful, and made with evident care. Even the cocktails were delicious, a lovely touch that added to the overall experience. The staff deserves a special mention. Professional, discreet, and impeccably attentive, they kept everything spotlessly clean and responded to our every request with remarkable efficiency — never intrusive, always present when needed. That rare balance made all the difference. Finally, the setting itself is breathtaking. The pool area is beautiful, and wandering through the olive groves surrounding the property gave the whole stay an incredibly peaceful, authentic feel. We couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended.

We had the Pomo suite which was unbelievably luxurious. If you want wild parties etc, this is not for you; but if you want peace and style, you could not ask for anything more - the complete Country House experience. In particular the pool is stunningly beautiful, but in truth so was everything. We normally have a ‘never look back’ rule; in the case of Sorelle Barnaba we have agreed we would definitely go back.

All staff members, including reception, restaurant, bar, and management, were extremely helpful, obliging, and responsive in their interactions with us. Despite our delay on a busy Sunday when they had a function, they still reserved a table for our lunch. They truly went above and beyond for us. The selection and quality of the food was exceptional, and the service and entire experience was excellent from start to finish. The country house, the swimming pool and the grounds are an oasis of serenity and pleasure to stroll through and acknowledge the hard work and attention to detail of the entire property. A very special place and a real treat. We had a wonderful and restful stay here. Thank you.

This place really lived up to our expectations and beyond. Old and new is pleasantly merged together, every detail, every stone tells a story of a surrounding countryside and it’s history. The staff is welcoming and warm, home made breakfasts were simply amazing - every day there was something new to try. The well maintained pool area and the surrounding olive grows were the perfect place to relax after daily travels.

It’s a lovely country house very easy to get with car. Close to Monopoli and Polignano. The junior suite I stayed was equipped with air conditioners, a very small and basic kitchen (I didn’t cook, but don’t expect to cook big meals, it’s essential and it should stay that way). Nice big pool, basic but home made breakfast.
