The owner of the hotel is wonderful. Helpful, responsive and takes a great pride in the hotel. Position of the hotel is fantastic - in a quiet location close to the airport but not noisy. The rooms are well kept with good air conditioning and great views over the beach/sea. Fabulous breakfast.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is small, cozy, and decorated in a charming traditional Greek style. The airport transfer cost €20 for two people. The rooms were spotless, with daily cleaning service – fresh towels everyday and shower gel refilled. There were also options for excursions, though we didn’t take part this time. The staff was fantastic and always ready to help, especially the bartenders serving coffee at the pool bar. Mr. Antoni in particular stood out – he often checked if everything was fine and if we needed anything. Such a kind person – we already miss him! Breakfast is available at the hotel, though we didn’t try it. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the beach, so you can easily take a quick swim in the sea and then come back to the hotel and relax by the pool. I had read some comments about possible noise from the nearby power plant, but during our stay there was absolutely no sound from it at all. The evening atmosphere by the illuminated pool was magical. We stayed at the end of July, and it was pleasantly uncrowded. The only small downside was that the bathroom door didn’t close perfectly. The air conditioning worked perfectly. I would gladly return – this is the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in!

This hotel feels private whilst also being right on the beach. We loved lounging on the chairs by the pool and ordering from the bar. The staff here are the kindest and friendliest people. It’s a nice quiet area and easy enough to transport to and from other places on the island. Overall we LOVED our stay at Memories Hotel and definitely recommend.

All staff at the property were very friendly and helpful. The property was directly opposite the beach and a great restaurant, with a mini supermarket next door. It has a lovely pool area and is very well maintained. It’s in a quiet part of the island but this made for a very relaxing time. Tourist hot spots, and the airport, were easily accessible by taxi or local bus

“Worth it 100%!”

Firstly, the staff was very helpful and friendly. Anything you wanted to know, they would help you in a very positive way. Accomodation, breakfast, cocktails, food, views, the pool, facilities in the room and many other things were very satisfying. This place and this part of the island are very quiet and relaxing, not crowded, perfect if you are a couple. There is also a minimarket very close (50m) where you can buy what you need, the beach also close which is nice and not crowded. Right in front of the hotel, near the beach there is also a traditional restaurant with a sea view where you can have lunch or dinner (Captain Lozios is the name) with also friendly staff, cozy atmosphere and tasty food. There is also the bus-stop very close to the hotel next to the minimarket from where you can get to the capital Fira and from there you can travel anywhere to the island with busses coming very often between the places. Overall, deffinitely recommended, we'll be back for sure!

“Great quiet family hotel”

Quiet, lovely pool, close to beach, loads of parking, staff really friendly. Took our 1 year old away and this was perfect, room had two levels so little one could sleep and we could play games and enjoy the balcony without waking him up. Minimal noise and not over stimulation. Beach is fantastic for families and the sunrises are just breathtaking. Breakfast was a buffet which suited our family needs perfectly. Great range of food on offer. Staff were amazing and made being away with a little one easier. Great size room, loved the two levels worked perfectly for us. We didn’t feel trapped when little one was asleep.

Great hotel in front of the sea. The pool and the cafe were great for relaxing. The room was essential but comfortable, with a nice balcony see view.

This is not a 2star hotel, it is lovely. The pool Is great, the place is clean and the room spacious. Staff very friendly and helpful. Right next too beach with an amazing restaurant across the round. Top tip use there taxi service loads cheaper than uber.
