Overview
Situated in the scenic village of Monodendri 600 metres from Vikos Gorge, the stone-built Hotel Ladias serves a traditional breakfast buffet with homemade pies and local honey and yogurt. Rooms offer views of the Pindos Mountains, Vikos Gorge or the village. Featuring hand-painted ceilings and wooden floors, rooms at the Ladias Hotel include free Wi-Fi, a satellite TV and fridge. Each has a private bathroom with hairdryer, toiletries and hydromassage shower. Guests can relax in the lounge room with the fireplace or have a drink at the bar. Room service is also available. In the warmer months the cobbled courtyard is ideal for enjoying the views, having breakfast or a drink. Staff at the front desk can provide info on the hiking paths of the area and can also accompany guests at their hiking tours. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can offer information on rafting and horse riding activities, as well as plan visits to Zagori, Vikos Gorge and Drakolimni. The town of Ioannina is at 40 km away. Free private parking is possible on site.

“Lovely character lodging with access to Vikos Gorge”
Large spacious room with screen on the balcony doors so windows could be open. The bed was comfortable and breakfast sufficient. Great advice for hiking the Vikos Gorge and good support for taxis and transportation.

The hotel was run by a pair of brothers who were very friendly and helpful. They were knowledgeable about the local area, and helped me plan trips and hikes during the day, and find good local restaurants during the evening. The hotel itself was comfortable, clean, and set in a beautiful location. Highly recommend!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast and also provided us a packed lunch for us when we went hiking. They also picked us up from our endpoint of our hike and taxied us back to the hotel.

The location is beautiful and the staff very friendly. I was glad to look at the map and get some local advice on the hiking trail through the Vikos gorge to Vikos. The room and the beds were comfortable.

The proprietor was friendly and very helpful with lots of local knowledge. The location was excellent for exploring this beautiful area, and close to several local restaurants. There was a good range of options for breakfast.
