Amazing real Mongolian yurt, beautifully hand decorated, insulated and heated, very cosy and with a surprising amount of space. Bathroom and kitchen new, spotless and well decorated. Very kind and welcoming host. Lovely wild location, nearly at 1000m altitude on Mt Ventoux, so chilly nights. Wildlife all around, including griffon vulture, booted eagle, golden oriole, woodlarks, cuckoo and turtle dove.

“A very nice place to relax and visit the Provence.”
Monieux is located in the country of lavender, 10 minutes by car from Sault. A very nice new apartment. There is also a lounge with books and helpful tourist documentation. When the weather is nice, breakfast is served on the beautiful terrace. It's also a good place to relax.During your stay you can visit the lavender oil distillery in July and August. The distillery is family owned. Jerome explains in great detail the process of making the lavender oil. Many thanks to Solene and Jerome for the very nice time.
