Everything was just beautiful. The room had this amazing ambiance, and was also super clean. The building and the environment around was magic, and the staff were so helpful and service minded. We couldn’t ask for more! We will be back for sure:)

“Magical”

A truly special space. Feels ancient, but a lot of work has gone into creating a space that is quirky and just magical. We had a comfortable stay, but it's the feel of the space carved into the rock that makes it special.The walk along the passages is such fun. Don't miss a tour of the cellar. The meal we had was lovely too. They have an extensive wine menu and this is the place to splurge on that old bottle of Barolo.

Words cannot begin to describe this unique and beautiful property. It is stunning-- an old building but totally refurbished inside. Family owned and managed, they were absolutely amazing hosts-- they could not have been more accommodating. The food was delicious and the owner gave us a tour of his wine cellar-- just incredible. The rooms were incredibly spacious, and some of the rooms in our group had large sitting areas where we could convene as a family. The location is great and an easy walk into town and to other restaurants, etc. I would not hesitate to stay here again. It was perfect in every way.

A fantastic stay at Le Case della Saracca. Love this nice small hotell in this 1000 years old building - and the host Guilio was very helpful and warm. Perfect place for wine lovers :-)

It is always such a treat staying here, the hotel is unique and very comfortable. Built into the side of a cliff, and made up of four connected medieval buildings, each room is different and connected though a series of hallways and caverns. The bar and restaurant on the ground floor are terrific, and the wine list - and wine cellars - are exceptional, and with an encyclopedia selection from Barolo. Giulio and his team go out of their way to ensure a lovely stay. We are always treated like good friends who have come to visit.

Great restaurant and bar facilities

A unique hotel! The rooms were unlike anything I have stayed at, the view from the small balcony was amazing, it was an adventure to walk through the "labyrinth" to get to the room and to the bar, lovely restaurant with an amazing wine list, great service!

Super unique, clean and very friendly and helpfull staff. Giulio can arrange visits with vineyards, and has an excellent wine bar in the first floor. His cellar is also amazing.

This is a place with extraordinary character and history, beautifully restored into a boutique hotel and restaurant. The rooms are stylishly simple but the building, essentially a series of medieval caves, is stunningly creative in itself and needs little dressing up. The food is excellent, the wine list extensive (and that’s even before you get to the off-list collection!) and Giuglio is a wonderful host. Nothing is too much trouble for him, whether rustling up some pasta for us when we arrived late, helping with itineraries or phoning restaurants and wineries. We had a fantastic time and cannot recommend it more highly. A true 10/10!
